“All in all the course was very good. It gave a wide overview of many aspects of boating. I think it is a good idea to have the book as a reference on your boat as there are many things that might be forgotten or confused if you don't boat often.”

“The videos were great. I liked the test at the end but I wish it showed what I got wrong so I could learn more. Also having to redo the course of you failed was a little annoying. I learn by reading and writing so the videos didn't do much for me. I learned more from answering the question and looking up the information and reading the section.”

“I think the course was well delivered with all the details and accumulation of general knowledge for boats and safety for using water ways, I would recommend more questions on bouyage for the exam. Overall this course covers a wide range of boating information. Regards Gary”

“the help i received to download my temporary card was good. some of the questions on the quiz are misleading, for example changing names of the ends of the rope attached to the boat and anchor. the questions should acknowledge the correct terms with accurate recall, not confuse with incorrect similar information. the recall of information by the person being tested should be encouraged not negatively reinforced. the test answers should reflect what is known , not seek to confuse.”

“Excellent Program! The video courses didn't always come up right away. Sometimes the video played but there was no audio. It was easy enough to re-watch a section, but for the most part, the narrator was reading words already on the screen. We were able to just follow along in most cases. The narrator seemed very slow at times, and we often found ourselves wishing they were speaking a little faster, and in a more normal tone. The information was fantastic, and laid out perfectly. There are a lot of different sections, but we were glad for that. Make is much easier to take breaks.”
