“I loved how it was so easy to learn all the rules of safe boating”

“The technology is great. I understand that much of the process is mandated by the government, but the experience was simply too onerous. I think my actual online time was 6 hours, but once I got a feel for the line of questioning I started making notes, which saved me. I found the module questions far more tricky that the test. The test was intuitive and did a good job of testing knowledge. The module questions pretty much forced you to pour through your notes. If there is a study guide that would help it wasn't obvious, though there seemed to be when I googled one of the module questions... I believe the overall process is a significant disincentive that limits the number of people who can get a license.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed going through the BOATsmart! training. I was able to learn a lot of valuable information and complete it at my own pace. It definitely took me from a place of minimal knowledge, to being comfortable taking the boating exam with ease! I would highly recommend this course for people looking to write their exam, or even just to familiarize themselves with this knowledge.”

“My experience was awesome. The website is beautiful and simplistic. Took me no time at all to figure out what to do from start to finish. I'm happy i choose boatsmart to do my PCOC or boat licence. Just got a 96% on my exam, really happy about that. Time to go fishin'! Thanks guys”

“You really need to change this system and have a few different levels of licenses. I dont need to learn about sailboats and traffic routes where i live and fish but i do understand some places have that and maybe you should change the license to different provinces or something.”
