“Some repetitive information and no need to know which law governs certain violations just that it is illegal would suffice. Knowing which questions are wrong and the correct answer would help in the learning and not leave us in the dark about what we didn't know and need to correct”

“It really sucks that we cannot see the correct quiz answers so that we can learn from our mistakes.... or at least let us know which questions were wrong so we can figure out the right answer For the future. Other than that everything is well done!”

“Would have been nice to review the test to see what you got right or wrong. Should only have to redo the modules lessons that you fail the question on taking the test. Overall well presented and I would recommend it to others.”

“The course was good but focused too much on naming pieces of legislation. No regular person needs to know what section, of which act of legislation requires you to behave a certain way. Just tell us the rules!”

“Only issue was the videos. Only 3 actually played. The rest I watched on YouTube. 2 were not available there. Some of the exiry times for the videos were a bit excessive. I was able to read the lesson twice and the clock still hadn't finished allowing me to move on. Besides these minor items, this was an excellent, detailed, informative course.”

“It is a good program but I have only one complaint. When I make an error I would like to know what it is. How can people get better if they don’t know what they did wrong. When I make a mistake I like to know because then I will never make it again. I guess you expect people to look up answers in the book so they don’t make mistakes. I didn’t have the book.”

“The content was fine, but the website design was not the most intuitive. The most annoying chunk was the header and footer on each page module, which took a significant amount of screen estate, and didn't allow me to see the full video on my 13-inch.”

“The course was good but some information wasn’t useful to me like the information when boating on the sea I would never do that. My suggestion to this is to have two different courses one being for Ocean and sea boating and the other for lakes and rivers and for fishing boats.”

“The class was well put together and equipped me for the exam. It was easy to follow and complete. The biggest frustration was the timer for each video which didn’t always match the video. Many times I had to wait 10-50 seconds after the video was complete to move to the next lesson.”

“Overall it's a quality course. There were some questions on the Transport Canada exam that I do not remember being covered in the BOATsmart material.”
