I booked the Colombo, Caves & Kandy tour in Sri Lanka through Bookmundi. The website and booking process was straight forward and easy to navigate. All email communication including booking confirmation was prompt and efficient. The entire process was seamless and stress free.

My experience with Bookmundi has been very bad. They've provided incomplete answers and deceptive information about our booking. Everything felt very dishonest. I would never book with them again.

Bookmundi referred me to a travel agent in an adjacent country to our destination country. The money was collected through Bookmundi, but all arrangements were made through Say Hueque in Argentina. While the people at Say Hueque were very nice, their response time to inquiries was consistently slow. After final payment, we were promised our final itinerary between 10 and 30 days prior to departure. I inquired about this with Say Hueque and was promised I would receive it shortly. We are currently 7 days from departure and have not received our itinerary despite repeated requests. An email inquiry to Bookmundi several days ago has not received a response. We were planning on doing some final trip planning based on the itinerary, but this is going to be difficult now. This will be my last booking with either company.

We had an overall pleasant experience with this company despite the unfortunate circumstances of covid19. I will say of note that our main point of contact, Sarah, was very responsive and didn’t make us wait long when we had asked a question, which was helpful. Back in January 2020, we booked a trek in Nepal for four people. Due to the outbreak of Covid, the tour operator in Nepal contacted us directly to inform us they were cancelling the tour and Nepal was not allowing non-citizens to enter. Bookmundi worked with us to help us partially refund our deposit, and also offered us to keep the deposit on hold and rebook a tour through 2022 (which was not an option for us, so we declined). Overall, we had a pleasant experience with bookmundi and would recommend booking with them if you prefer the peace of mind of having your tour lined up in advance, with the downside of potentially having to postpone your tour, if the tour gets cancelled because of COVID-19.

The website is easy to navigate and has a lot of useful information. The booking process was very smooth and their customer service is excellent, especially Juliana and James who would respond within 24 hours and were always helpful! I highly recommend you book your trip through them.

The booking process was excellent. The website is clear, simple and easy to navigate. Processing was carried out immediately with a booking reference number followed a little later by a confiramtion email. Any questions regarding the trip wwere ansered immediately

I would be hesitant to use Bookmundi again. Something that should have been straightforward ended up being overly complicated and drawn out simply because I wanted to stay an extra night after a tour. It took 8 days to sort out and to get confirmation that I was on the actual tour I had to tell them to forget about the additional night I was adding on. The only time they came to me was when I emailed them to ask what was going on. I still don't know what day my tour starts as the date given is different to the date provided by the tour operator. I am still waiting for that to be confirmed. The emails from bookmundi were polite and pleasant but they didn't seem to have any idea as to what was going on.

Service was good. We were assigned a travel expert same day as our inquiry. The travel expert, Ms Hien, ensured that the proposed tour package aligned with our desires. She was easy to work with and knowledgeable. Tour package pricing was reasonable. Payment was easily accomplished through Bookmundi website.

They go through another company - Discovery Nomads - who spmetimes goes through other third parties like viator to book flights, excursions, hotels, etc. When things went wrong, and they went off the rails, it was impossible to rebook or cancel for refund. My CONFIRMED itinerary was changed less than a week before I was supposed to leave. And they offered me a mere 100 euro for wanting to cancel ayers rock. I wasn't even sent n itinerary until 2 days before I flew to Australia, and I had to ask for it twice. Bh that time I realized my last day was not in fact a travel day and their were tours booked. I had to cancel the 12 apostles/oceb road tour, and never received the 80euro discovery nomads said they issued to Bookmundi. Both companies have provided lackluster customer service. They are not responsive and when they are, they are dismissive. The whole point in booking a tour is to not have to sweat the details and gave support when things go wrong. In the end, I spent more time coordinating and salvaging this vacation then I would have booking on my own. And I'm sure I'll never get the money back I deserve. You're better off booking directly. I've learned my lesson. The tour website was also misleading. 1) The descriptions mentions "sailing"the Whitsundays. You are on a ferry spending the majority of the day picking and dropping off hotel passengers at other islands. 2) bookmundi says they cover all credit card fees. I went out of my way to confirm via email before booking that this also included foreign transaction fees. Nope. I was charged $150 in foreign transaction fees and never issued a refund by Bookmundi.

Terrible hotel and experience thus far. My husband and I booked the Rome to venice tour. Our first hotel The Grand Olympic was absolutely disgusting. It was NOT clean at all, not comfortable, and definitely not a 4 star hotel. This at best is a 1 star hotel and not what we’d expect paying nearly $4,000 for our trip. Pieces of tile were missing, blood on the wall, the sink wouldn’t drain, there was no bedside lights, and the shower had mold. When I contacted Bookmundi, I received this response “ The hotel has been following its established cleanliness protocols diligently. We believe the issue may be related to personal preferences”. They said this despite the fact I emailed multiple pictures to them of the issues. Meanwhile, my husband and I felt so uncomfortable and disgusted we ended up changing hotels and paying over $700 euros out of pocket, which Bookmundi will not reimburse us on this hotel or the original hotel. Save yourself the time and trouble, book with Perillo.

I have interacted with Bookmundi on two trips and I have found their customer service to be outstanding. The response to my questions has been timely (given the time difference between where I live and where customer service representatives are located) and focused on the information I needed. My experience with the customer service is exactly what I would expect from a company focused on bookings to varying parts of the world.

So far, so good. Booked a trip for the Spanish Ring in November and the planning is going smoothly. I appreciate Peter's responsiveness with my queries considering the time difference and that he is facilitating my experience with the tour operator Europamundo. Looking forward to a memorable trip.
