“I made a preliminary deposit to a trip to Greece. Due to an extreme family emergency as well as a personal health crisis (cancer), I did not make the final payment, nor did I participate in the trip. It appears that this company did not even confirm my participation and reached out AFTER the trip to threaten me to pay for a trip not taken. When I asked them not to contact me again after providing reasons, they agreed and wished me good health. Now, six days later, they are going back on their word to leave me alone and have begun threatening me again. Stay clear of this company. They seem unethical as well as very disorganized. What travel company doesn’t even confirm who actually shows up for their trips until weeks after, and then demands payment anyhow?! Ridiculous.”

To clarify, your booking was confirmed at the time of reservation and later rescheduled as per your request, to accommodate for your situation.
The updated travel dates and confirmation were issued and shared with you accordingly. In addition, the tour operator provided the final travel documents prior to departure as part of the standard pre-trip process.
As per the booking terms and conditions accepted at the time of booking, including the applicable cancellation policy, the reservation remained active. Our records do not show a cancellation request being received prior to departure, and therefore the booking remained in place in line with the agreed terms.
The communication you received was part of our standard process relating to an outstanding balance on an active booking.

“The process from finding the tour we wanted to take to getting set up for the tour was an easy process. The other reviews we saw gave us the security of using their website to book our trip. The only item we missed which would have given a 5* was the trip did not include see the Alps up close or a train trip. Well maybe next time there may be one and we would definitely take that trip.”
