Having bought a pair of nail clippers at £25, when I tried them I found they were faulty. I was then advised by Boots that Managers discretion if to issue a refund. What. The things are faulty for goodness sake. Never again will I shop at Boots, my last shop was £120. In future I will go elsewhere. I’m now contacting Trading Standards over this terrible issue.

Totally disgusted and appalled. went to Scunthorpe optitians over 3 weeks ago had eyes tested told needed varifocals was told that I needed to spend £400.00 on a pair that did everything and if not right then come back no worries was even measured by their specialist in there. Waited over 2 weeks for them saw another member of staff who so called measured them was told could not see properly and was told to go away and try. returned 2 days later complained someone checked and said the lenses were placed in wrong position and I had to see someone else in few days. returned saw same specialist saw on day of purchased every excused was heard from her and when I asked for refund was told no sorry exchange of glasses only this was not mentioned at time of purchase which we complained about and she wasn't bothered. was told actually I don't need varifocals just a distance pair so why did I pay all this money was told that they would give me same glasses with distance lens and another as a spare this does not add up to the £400 I paid totally ripped off not happy they don't care at all.

They are ripping their customers. They are overselling their products. They have the most unreasonable and rudest staffs, managers, top managers I ever faced. I have bought a Boss EDTS 100ml for 65 pounds where you can buy it from almost all other retailers with between 30-35 pounds. Just google this perfume, you would then be amazed! Please do not buy from them. For sure you can find what you want far cheaper online or try other shopping stores in UK first.

Ordered Dr Browns baby teats for my newborn baby who was having trouble With the number 1s teats on click and collect the next day paid £1.50 for them to deliver to store because they never have the size I have needed every time I have looked So I ordered online went to collect them today at the Barry store. I opened the bag to double check they had delivered the correct Teats to then realise they had delivered the Narrow Teats when I hadn’t ordered them I had ordered the Standard size to fit my bottles to then be told I then had to wait till tomorrow and collect them at the store tomorrow and that we are really sorry about this and that they have now separated them in the warehouse so they don’t get them mixed up again. I asked if there way any way of getting them today as I desperately needed them as my baby was stuggling to feed on the teats that had came with the bottles and I was told there was nothing they could do. I then phoned Boots customer services to then be told we are so sorry about this and we can refund your £1.50 delivery I then asked if they could deliver to my house the next day instead of me having to do another trip to the store for them to tell me they would have to cancel and process my order again. I still haven’t been refunded my £1.50 delivery money and I will now have another unsettled night with my baby. I never expected this from boots and I will not be buying from the store again. I thought they did execellent customer service. I would say they are a total let down.

Boots gift cards cannot be used online. Very disappointing as I can't get out to visit a store at moment. I won't be asking for a Boots gift again.

Item sent to wrong store. As a result I made 2 failed collection attempts, in between those I called to confirm that the item was at the correct store, and was assured all was OK. On the second attempt, I was left in store to spend 2 calls and 25/30 minutes on the phone in the store to try and sort this out for myself, as the in store staff were extremely unhelpful. Only at the end of this 2nd phone call did they tell me the item was at the wrong store. When I refused to travel to the incorrect store for collection, they did not offer to have the item resent to the correct store, and also made the refund process as difficult as possible as the purchase was made in-store at another Boots branch. Completely appalling customer service, and a total waste time to try and order for collection from Boots. Never again.

Will NEVER use BOOTS again! Ordered and paid online for a Dyson Airwrap that was showing as in stock. The order went through and the money was deducted from my bank balance immediately. A large purchase of £399. After 2 emails confirming my order, an email arrived stating my order had been cancelled. I spent more than 30 minutes online only to be told I had “failed verification” processes. Despite that BOOTS took my £399 and helpfully told me they had 2 products in stock but I couldn’t have them as my order had been cancelled - by them... they cannot “refund” me as they don’t have my money. It will be refunded in 5 working days when they don’t claim it. I strongly believe Boots is taking orders (and large sums of money), then prioritising which of their customers can actually have the product they have paid for. All the whilst holding on to everyone’s money with the excuse that “the money being deducted from your bank account is nothing to do with us”. Disgusting. People, I urge you to shop elsewhere. Out of interest - has anyone else had this experience with Boots when trying to purchase the Dyson Airwrap which is in heavy demand??? To add insult to injury I have just received yet another email alert to say Boots have this product in stock. It’s a SCAM! Dyson should block them as suppliers...

Everything went wrong! placed an order on the 2nd of December- due to arrive on the 5th! no contact at all so I went to the shop to ask what's going on- this was on the 12th of December! I was told in the shop that there was a problem with the warehouse-and told in the shop "its not their problem so I need To sort it out for myself" the following week coming contacted boots on twitter- on Facebook no reply at all. only automated comments asking for dms! by this stage it's the 20th I still have no order I paid for on the 2nd of December! nobody answered any of my private messages at all! phone them was on hold 20 minutes every time! I was about To hang up the 3rd time I phoned at 23 minutes on hold and finally miracle happened- someone answered! got my refund...no presents for christmas thought. boots it's still commenting on Facebook about sending dms....i have sent about 33...to be ignored. terrible service- I won't use it again

Ordered perfume for my daughter for Xmas to be delivered to our nearest store. Went to collect after receiving email to find it was not there. Customer service had to reorder. This happened 4 tines! It never turned up and was too late for me to get it elsewhere. My daughter went without her Xmas present! To add insult to injury I had to fight to get a refund. I had to go through PayPal to get it in the end. Awful company! Stay clear.

The worst possible Service!!!! Ordered Aftershave on the 12th December for collection in my local store on the 19th, it never arrived and the store couldn't give me an update as to when it would arrive, after repeated attempts I managed to contact Customer services (a contradiction in terms) offered a refund but not an apology! To make things worse, it cost me £18.00 in phone charges to get a refund. Looking at other reviews, I'm not alone.

Ordered perfume for my wife’s Xmas on the 20th of December in store due to the shop having no stock .was promised next day delivery . Went to the shop to collect on the 22nd , no perfume , no explanation, even worse no refund (because it’s a live order ) Absolute joke of a company , taking money under faulse pretences. This is now the 27th dec , still no further forward and still no perfume . Stay well clear !!

Ordered a few perfumes online (one being an expensive Chanel fragrance 100ml) and all the boxes were squashed. Phoned customer services to complain and was just told to go into a Boots store to receive a refund or replacement, or to go onto the website to return. Not happy. Will buy perfumes from Allbeauty.com in future as they secure their items in cardboard boxes and the delivery is superfast. Bye Boots!
