Canterbury...wanted a Babyliss curling wand priced £21 and Remington shine therapy straighteners priced at £34.99...at counter the straighteners were 39.99 ..I queried it and a rather cross Julia said she was only a till assistant and went off to ask ..then I was informed it was in wrong place ...it was clearly labelled ..but I felt too uncomfortable to show her the shelf ..I only bought curling wand and when I later checked receipt I had been charged £23 on my gift card and no points put on my advantage card !!! Really annoyed..Hope Julia is only a Christmas temp ...I was only visiting Canterbury. .will use Kidderminster from now on !!

Parcel got lost in the post, phoned up and they said I couldn’t get a refund because one of the items was “free” as it was 3 for 2. Very disappointing therefore won’t be shopping there again :(

One online order went missing and when I contacted customer services they asked me what courier was used to send the items to my local Boots. How I am expected to know? Are their operators mindless or what? Also do not bother check store available online as it is always wrong. Twice I have travelled to store that are meant to have stock and they don’t. Waste of time and petrol money.

Ordered some perfume on line on 16/12/18 for a Christmas present. Delivery due 18/12/18. Had not heard by 20th that the delivery had been despatched so after spending 40 mins on phone with no answer I e-mailed Customer service. Tried phoning again next day but after 50 mins gave up and phoned the store the item was due to be delivered too. Item had not arrived and they did not have any in stock. Item refunded. Rubbish service will not use again..

Ordered photo cushion, advised delivery last week, no answer on customer services email, left on hold with premium rate number that eventually cut me off. Just spoke to someone, Boots order number off their site & Boots don’t recognise. Checked my bank account, they’ve taken my payment!!! Now on another number to try for a refund, they just cut me off!!!! DO NOT USE, BETTER TO GO TO A STORE (Not Boots) THEIR ONLINE SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AT BEST USELESS!

Never ever buy at Boots. Returned the product over a month ago, still not received a refund, £200. Customer service doesn't exist, doesn't pick up call, doesn't response to emails. I would select zero star if possible! Shame on you Boots!

Never have written a review in my life but because of the absolute poor service i have received from Boots i just had to! I ordered the Dyson airwap kit online on the 11/12/18 to be collected from my local store for the 15/12/18 the payment was taken from my card and a confirmation email sent to me. I arrived to collect my order on 15/12/18 only to be told that they should have received this on the 13th but they have had a delay being the time of year... which is understanding but still disappointing that i wasn't informed. I waited until the 20th and still no correspondence? so i called Boots to asked if my item had arrived in store yet? but when giving my order number i was told there is no record of this order and was told they would look into it and call be back, after 20mins i was called back to be told the product had gone missing and they have none in stock so they will just have to refund the money, but this will take 5 days! so not only will i not be able to get the product from Boots in time for Christmas i wont even get my money back before Christmas to purchase the product from anywhere else! i was simply told that they are sorry and there is nothing more they can do. Well thank you Boots for ruining my wife Christmas!

Boots failed to deliver my order and the customer service operative Josh was unable to tell me where my order was, all he had/could confirm was my order date 14/12/18. Josh was also unable to offer me any assurances regarding a reorder ie if I reordered my item would this reach its requested destination for me to pick up before Christmas?! They lost my order without apology. Whilst on the phone to Josh I agreed to a reorder but during the call between Josh and myself, Boots ran out of their online stocks so he now couldn't order me a replacement item!! I requested that Josh call the only store in Maidstone that still had the item on their shelves after much persuasion he agreed. So Josh was supposed to be calling the store to reserve the item in King Street boots, the Fremlin Walk store had sold the item off their shelves as Josh had informed me earlier during our call. However Josh chose to leave me literally hanging on the phone while he just refunded me the money back on my card instead of calling the store as we had agreed. The only reason I knew that he had refunded me was an automated refund message to my phone. The whole call took over an hour and 15 minutes of my time and I had to end the call, no one came back on the line. Since then, I have been unable to reach King Street boots via their direct store number having tried to call the multiple times, as I would like to see if they have the item still on their shelves so I can then reserve the item for me to pick up. In a nutshell, Boots Customer service is totally rubbish. All Josh wanted to do was get me off the phone by offering me a refund. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the item I ordered. Their online service has collapsed purely due to Christmas. Imagine that Boots the Chemist is not ready for the increased pressure that Christmas brings. Unacceptable that a huge company is unable to cope with extra customer traffic because of Christmas, basically no contingency plans have been put in place to ensure exceptional customer service at a time of the year when all of us want to give our loved ones a special Christmas to show them we care. I will never order online with Boots again.

Ordered 3 gifts on 9th Nov for collection on 13th (still don't have them on 19th) as I could easily pick up the order from the shop on that day and a few subsequent days. Heard nothing on the 13th so walked over and asked. Nothing there, but told I could call shop to check or after 48 hours call customer services. I was disappointed that I received no email telling me what was happening with my order and that all responsibility to chase it was with me. After several calls and store visits and a 30 min call to customer services (15 mins to pick up and then around 10 mins on hold) my missing item was reordered and I was assured it would be there the next day. I rang and it wasn't and customer services couldn't tell me where it was and when it would be delivered. So now I have another day where I have to call boots again, and if it arrives pay the costs of travelling into cambridge city on a day where I have no other reason to go. I would not recommend using Boots online as although staff are friendly, the system is so poor that no-one knows where the products being delivered are.

Product Warning! I have used No7 stay perfect lip lacquer, colour Nectar for years. It has taken me weeks to whittle down what is causing my lips to blister and burn but it is this without any doubt as I have tried it on my friend & my husband (!) who had the same reaction. Boots just sent a standard reply & haven’t asked for it back to test it so are either aware or are not taking it seriously but they must have had other complaints - it has to be a batch fault. Poor service Boots! I can’t get a refund in store as have not kept the receipt. I’ll be avoiding No.7 from now on as this was so distressing - standards have clearly slipped.

My order supposed to arrive by 14th of December. Was waiting full day and guess what...it never came...next morning received message from delivery company that it will be delivered till 19.00 (second day of waiting, happy days). Eventually some guy ring a door bell and by the time i came downstairs he was gluing a sticker on a door....He handed me small bag saying that it’s my delivery. When i told him that it should be much bigger and suppose to arrive yesterday, he replayed that it 1 of 2 and he have no second one, and I should be grateful that he delivered it on Sat and I might get second part by Monday. Tracking number wouldn't show any useful information, except that it’s been dispatched. Long story short: Boots selected delivery company without giving any other option to customers. That's why i think they should be responsible for delivery and deal with delivery company on their behalf. But it seems like boot does not want to take any responsibility for deliveries and they let you deal with it on your own...

I paid extra for next day delivery (ordered 3:00pm) and have waited in all day. It is now 7:00pm and I have received an update on my order that it is to be delivered in 3 days! I won't be home to collect my order then so have requested a refund.

Booked a private flue vaccination via your online booking system for Friday 14/12/18 at 09:00. Arrived at South Molton store in Devon at 08:55. Staff stated that I should not have been allowed to book on line and that there was no Flu Vaccination for me. They tried to call head office in Nottingham but no answer. They referred me to a competing Chemist within the town and I went there. Staff were very stressed, un-friendly and lacked care. Dreadful customer service and systems do not work.

Hi There My Name is Nanette Wadey On Sunday December 9th I went into the Bognor Regis Branch and ordered and paid £30.00 for the Liz Earl gift Set as it was on special offer. As there was none available they ordered it for next day delivery to your Rustington Branch. I went to that branch several times this week only to find out that my order had not been and would not be delivered. Although I have had a refund it was extremely irritating and inconvenient to visit the branch several times to no avail. I therefore will not be recommending Boots to any of my friends as this was a very frustrating episode.

Boots will be the next high street retailer complaining "trading is tough and we can't compete with the likes of Amazon". Well instead of moaning they need to fix their online trading system and warehouse so that customers receive their orders on time and in good condition. It's not hard to do and it's a great way to retain customers rather than driving them away never to use you again. Product ordered, had to pay for delivery which arrived 5 days later despite the online system suggesting the parcel was out for delivery 3 days earlier. Good totally trashed. Who in the warehouse things that a plastic shipping bag is suitable packaging for a set of loose toiletries and cosmetics. Come on. Emailed customer services straight away, 4 days later no response. Facebook Messenger twice, nothing. Today on hold on phone for 20 mins, no answer. Boots no doubt pays their head of online a ridiculous salary for running a total shambles. The way to compete with Amazon is to copy way they do. Easy ordering, rapid cheap and reliable delivery and fantastic backup when things go wrong. Come on, get your act together Boots.

Will never use boots online again, Placed an order in November it still hasn't arrived. Stupidly placed another order for store collection this time and that hasn't arrived in store. When contacted customer service was told basically to claim a refund and reorder although half the things I had ordered and paid for were no longer in stock and the aftershave I ordered is now at full price and I would have to pay full price now. Would not recommend Boots.com to anyone for one order not to be delivered fair enough it happens but for two of my orders to not arrive disgusting especially when these are gifts for people. If I could give them no stars I would and there customer service staff need to go on training courses on how to deal with customers.

I asked at the perfume counter for a recommendation for ‘green’ perfumes. The assistant asked if I meant green in colour! She said she had never heard of perfume described as ‘green’. I told her it was a classic description of a scent like floral or mossy. She said no, they didn’t have anything like that and treated me to a look that said ‘pathetic old nutter’. I could forgive that, partly because she was French but what I couldn’t forgive was the good old moany gossip she had with her mates as I walked away. I went to John Lewis and had a good old laugh with the assistant there and happily gave them my £100 instead. Boots: train your perfumery staff in, er, well, perfume, and not to be rude to customers.
