“Brightside gave me access to mental health care when I needed it most. My provider is responsive, helpful, and kind. I have my prescription sent to a pharmacy so that I can use my insurance. It has been such a huge change in my life to have access to medication that always felt like there were so many barriers to obtain. I had my first appointment in less than 48 hours and a check in questionaire every few weeks. I recommend this to anyone who needs mental health care.”
“It's easy and convenient to get help, the cost is still high despite having insurance, but it's a very easy system to use and I regularly use my check-in's to ensure I'm on the proper medication.”
“It could 100% be that I didn’t read the fine print but depression and anxiety can be symptoms of other mental illnesses and it’s a little weird to me that the sole focus of brightside is only treating part of my brain.”
“I am so grateful for the compassion and accessibility of brightside physicians. You have helped get me through a very difficult time when I felt so low. I remember now what it feels like to feel okay and I’m weaning from my medicine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.”
“The therapist is excellent and very responsive. The psychiatrist was responsive the one time I messaged her about a potential side effect of new medication. I feel she should have checked in about that specific side effect a few weeks later but I’m assuming all of the Info she needs is coming from the surveys each or every other week. Customer service is hard to get a response from which can be frustrating. Time between when you are eligible to book an appointment with the therapist and when an appointment is available is too long. Additionally, there is only a small range of times and they are during the work day. This all leads to paying for a monthly session but more than a month passing between sessions.”
