“I get entirely too many automated feedback requests. At least 3 times that of staff concern by email or phone (preferred). Perhaps a personal touch without the need for constant feedback could help develop stronger relationships that would allow you to get that feedback from paid caregivers. It's taking up a lot of my time to do surveys and check-ins that feels more like being a research animal. It is impersonal to do them constantly, but still necessary quarterly or in person from time to time to gauge progress”
“I appreciate how the Brightside system works. It is helping me and it is good to be able to access it online—especially during this continuing COVID time.”
“I really like the idea of bright side, the check-ins, the exercises. The holidays have derailed my progress a bit but I’m hoping to get back on track because it’s been so good to have the much needed focus.”
“Working with my therapist and my nurse practitioner is helping me make improvements on my mental health and life. The lessons could be better as they seem a little generic.”
“I would say the concept works. Zoom video calls feel just like you are sitting in front of the person and you have the convenience to schedule it whenever and where ever.”
“I have gone through the process of finding the right medication to manage my symptoms so I know it is a process. I am just anxious for that part to be done so I’m not feeling the way I do.”
“Brightside has been a great help to me. The therapy sessions and learning to recognize and control my depression and anxiety is improving my quality of life.”
“Brightside is easily accessible healthcare and is especially helpful for those in a transition stage of life (recent grad here still figuring out health insurance). One downside is that it is expensive, but certainly less expensive than finding a doctor in person.”
