“I’ve had good support from Brightside for several months. Unfortunately this last month it was difficult for me to schedule visits with my provider and therapist, so I did not have enough sessions with them. I have found a local psychiatrist that I have begun seeing, and hope to find a local therapist.
Brightside has given me a clear diagrammatic view of my progress, and I will miss that! I have enjoyed working with Erik Frost and Amanda. I wish I could have had more and longer sessions with Erik. Fifteen minutes twice a month is not much! I also wish my insurance covered this, since it has been pricey for me.
I’ve felt cared for, and been given good advice.
Thank you!”
“I love that they were able to find a psychiatrist quickly and efficiently for me. However, the therapy option that was offered cost more than what I was able to pay. Therefore, I was unable to take advantage of their therapy options.”
“The big issue is trying to schedule appointments with our psychiatrists. To have to request a review, 2 weeks after the last appointment, instead of just making an appointment, is worrisome. for example, if new medication causes severe mental side effects, within the first few doses so you have to discontinue medication, there ends up being too long of a pause between appointments to be prescribed something different”
“My therapist Serena takes the time to get to know you, and remembers everything. She pays attention to what you're looking for in therapy and finds ways to help deliver it. Sensitive, thoughtful, and grounded. I’ve really enjoyed working with her.”
“I think the service of Brightside is good unfortunately the medication I’ve been trying hasn’t started working yet so it’s making my ocd/depression and anxiety worst at the moment. Hoping for better days.”
“I love the convenience of having medication shipped to my door, it removes all the hassle of being on an anti depressant. What I don’t like: 30 minute therapy sessions and the cancellation policy. 30 minutes really only allows for superficial conversation, just enough to tell her how my week was (which is something I could do with anyone). I fear I’ll never be able to get to the root of my issues with a half hour of “how have you been”. Secondly, why would the company charge extra for cancelling. I understand if I pay per session, but I have already paid for the entire month. I never cancel, but it seems tacky to expect a client to prepay for a service, and then have to pay extra for the service not being performed.”
“Brightside has been a lot of help in my journey. I joined in January of 2022 and have been working with Dr. Peresh since then to find the optimal medication treatment for me. Dr. Peresh was always very responsive and caring in his approach. I have recommended your services to many people since I joined!”
