“I think when I was rematched with a different therapist I started to see results and felt more safe and comfortable speaking. It was just a matter of changing and honestly I am still in love with this program.”
“My providers are good. I just wish I myself was making more progress. I suffered a heart attack and that has been a setback. I am having a really hard time concentrating at work and not playing my addicted computer games. It's almost like I have ADHD or something, and I've never had that before.”
“Overall, Brightside is working for me. My symptoms are improving with my new medication, and it is convenient to have sessions at my home, although I have been asked to reschedule appointments a few times over the past couple months. Still, I am able to speak to my therapist on the weekend, which is much better than squeezing it into a work day. My doctor is very knowledgeable and supportive as is my therapist. I’m glad I took the leap!”
“Using Brightside has been so easy & convenient. I feel heard by both providers I work with and seem to have finally found some meds that are helping. I do wish the therapy sessions were closer to an hour like the in-person ones I'm used to. 30 minutes just always seems to go by so fast! I also love the check-in graph where I can see my progress - on days where it feels like I haven't made any it's nice to see a visual representation. Overall I really love Brightside!”
“What is helpful is that I can access you in a timely fashion. What is not helpful is that I cannot use my state insurance to pay for the services. I rate it a 3 or 2.5, because the financial barriers to accessing services makes it not a sustainable long term solution for me. So it ends up being inadequate care.”
“5/5
My therapist is very open to guiding me as I need while still giving me the space to work out things on my end as I am comfortable. The guiding lessons are helpful for anyone who has a guided-learner preference to their mental health journey.”
“I’ve only been using Brightside services for a short time but I am feeling better. My provider & therapist are excellent. My only complaint so far is that a 30 min. therapy session goes by very quickly and I wound prefer a 60 min. session. Otherwise, it’s nice to have this support and messaging the provider & therapist is a nice perk and messages are answered quickly.”
“Really convenient and it’s helped tremendously with my mental health. My therapist is great and so is the NP. They listen to how I’m feeling and my therapist has given me some great ways to cope when I feel overwhelmed. The only suggestion I’d have would be the ability to have longer sessions. Sometimes 30 minutes is fine but there are times when there’s a lot to deal with and it can feel abrupt.”
