Though I like Brightside, lately I have had trouble accessing my lessons. I also just messaged my therapist because my dashboard shows an old appointment is upcoming so I am unable to book my next appointment with her. The customer service team have been kind and helpful, but these issues are making it difficult to use Brightside.

Understanding how the system works is difficult. There’s no way of tracking when my next appointment should be or if I need one at all to get a refill. I’m also not sure if that happens automatically or not. Also the first provider I had missed an appointment and tried to shift the blame to me and the second one is just kind of assumptive and rude.

Love the doctor....therapy not so much...wish you guys had more options and therapists and the 30min session are a waste of time...to short

I wish my copay wasn't so high. There is no way to afford $75 per therapy session per week. Nor is it affordable every time I need to meet with my provider.

I would like to have more options on the website, it just seems like it’s a little bare. I’d like like a visit history, some of sort of option that shows me historical data. Also with customer service, I’d like to have a more faster option for service instead of emailing and getting responses within 24 hours. Maybe a phone number or a chat service would ensure quicker service? Other than that, no complaints!

It's fine. There are constant messages it feels like and no way to limit the amount of messages I'm receiving that I've found, so I don't enjoy that.

The therapy sessions are kinda short. They have been mildly helpful. The prescribed medication seems to be working great.

I would like longer therapy sessions each week.

Brightside was one of the few therapist/psych doctors that was accepting new patients. Brightside is liking getting a tire fixed on a highway (in New Jersey) by whoever is available, but the tire should be checked out by someone reputable that you trust back home.

Therapy sessions too short. Relies too much on "lessons"

I’ve had two appointments canceled because of scheduling errors I believe. I have submitted a refill for my citalopram, it has not been approved yet

Practitioners are great, billing has been problematic and not transparent.

Monthly fee for medication management (95 $) is far too high and therefore inaccessible to many people. I have already had to try to figure out how to move care elsewhere because 95/month to refill a prescription at my local pharmacy that my prescription benefit covers is not maintainable. However the provider I worked with has been good.

Going good so far. I would like better accessibility like an app. I don't check my dashboard as often as I need to because my email is something I don't check regularly so I end up forgetting to check in or do much on the site.

My medicine provider has been very helpful and worked with me. My first therapist quit and I haven't been able to connect with my second therapist yet - I guess due to technical issues. That's the main thing that is disappointing me right now. But I have noticed an improvement in my depression and anxiety so Brightside is helping me.

I am not super satisfied with Brightside. I am happy that I was able to quickly get a provider, however the online site is confusing and hard to navigate. I often have trouble figuring out how to message my provider quickly. The online check-ins are frustrating in that they score you in how you rate on a depression and anxiety scale, which sometimes labels you are "minimally depressed/anxious"- which is not necessarily accurate. Simply because my medication is helping my symptoms does not mean I am "minimally" mentally ill. This rating process comes off as minimizing my experience. Additionally, several times my provider has taken more than 72 hours to respond to me, and I have gone without getting a refill on my prescription, leaving me with withdrawal side effects. For $95 dollars a month, all of these inconveniences are frustrating, especially when there are many sites out there who provide the same type of service as Brightside.
