“Am very pleased with everything about Brightside. My therapist and psych nurse both answer messages in a timely manner, are always punctual and thorough in our visits and seem to be genuinely invested in giving quality mental health care.”
“My team is good. I like them and they are helping me. I’ve been un therapy before and had better therapists but I’ve also had worse. I feel I’m getting most of the help I need.”
“Instead of the meds I need (Adderall, Ativan) I got bupropion and ariprazole. They don't work as well, or at all. I understand people are addicted to drugs, but why should that affect my treatment?”
“My provider, Dr. Penny is super accessible, friendly, and knowledgeable. She is working with me to adjust my medications while listening to my side effects. Brightside also reminds me to keep track of symptoms with a weekly symptom tracker.”
“Overall everything is going well. There have been a few issues with the app. It seems like the app could have more options but the platform is great. Staff are responsive and the program is moving along. I would recommend Brightside.”
“Happy to finally have access to the care I need. My doctor has been attentive and actually listens. The therapist i was assigned to is excellent and feels like a great match for my needs.”
“I love my therapist Danielle and truly appreciate the tools she has already equipped me with to better handle my overwhelming feelings of anxiety and stress. I do, however, feel as if the weekly check in assessments need to be a bit more detailed. For example, when asking in the past two weeks, have you felt …., I think it would be helpful to have another option to choose from besides everyday, most everyday, several days, and not at all. Other than that, it’s been great!”
“Brightside provides me with accessible care without having to jump through multiple hoops with my insurance. I love that I can read each profile before choosing a provider.”
“The video quality is terrible which makes me a bit self conscious since it's so so dark. The messaging feature to my understanding doesn't immediately notify my therapist which is odd since that would be an effective route to keep clients in touch with their therapist. Overall I do love the convenience with scheduling and availability of my therapist.”
“This is the third time I’ve written about this!!! I need antidepressants, but not therapy. It is chemical with me. If I have issues that therapy would help, I certainly would avail myself of therapy. I have done so in the past and of course, would in the future. Currently, I don’t have any issues that require therapy.”
