“Brightside was a great launchpad toward long term care for my mental health. Even though I ultimately transferred my prescription to my primary doctor and found a less expensive alternative for therapy, I credit my path entirely to Brightside.”
“While I was slightly disappointed at the meetings with a therapist being monthly I could see a more dedicated individual getting a lot from their always available chat system, it just personally didn't work for me. What did work AMAZING is their program for medication where I was seen, heard and taken care of almost immediately and have had monthly check ups and questions to make sure my medication is right for me. I would recommend medication and therapy to everyone just know you don't need to get your therapy here.”
“Brightside has been very helpful, it’s allowed me to figure out what the best course of treatment will be. While that may not be brightside, I wouldn’t know what’s going to work for me without brightside’s help.”
“It's easy and convenient to get help, the cost is still high despite having insurance, but it's a very easy system to use and I regularly use my check-in's to ensure I'm on the proper medication.”
“The therapist is excellent and very responsive. The psychiatrist was responsive the one time I messaged her about a potential side effect of new medication. I feel she should have checked in about that specific side effect a few weeks later but I’m assuming all of the Info she needs is coming from the surveys each or every other week. Customer service is hard to get a response from which can be frustrating. Time between when you are eligible to book an appointment with the therapist and when an appointment is available is too long. Additionally, there is only a small range of times and they are during the work day. This all leads to paying for a monthly session but more than a month passing between sessions.”
