Shocking avoid at all costs guarantee you a payment off 100 a month to six months later put it up to 240 and tell you you owe them 700 shocking

Bulb is certainly the worst electricity company i ever used!!! I switched to bulb in 2017 and was paying 78 pounds then in 2020 they put the price up to 206 pounds in july, then 2 months after they put the price up tp 236 pounds, i tried to switch away from them and they dai i owe them 1200 pounds. From 78 to 236 pounds 3 times more than the original contracted and they never sent anyone to do a meter reading, never communicated they put the price up. Do not use bulb you will end up paying much more than you ever contracted them for!!! In 2017 i had three kids living at home in 2020 there were only 3 people living at home and how come usage went up???? DO NOT YSE BULB!

AVOID!!!! My direct debit was £60 per month for gas and elec, they tried to put this upto..£211, I live in a 2 room small flat, cook elec, gas is only for water and heating, I have 3 radiators. They have been grossly overestimating my gas use(£100+ per month!), meaning my account was over £300 in debit! I am unable to read meters myself, but got a neighbor to do it for me on 29th Jan 2021 and sent it to them. Now that they have readings my account is £300+ in credit! I have previously won a complaint via the ombudsman as they failed to repay a previous credit to me in a timeous manner, and i can leave with no exit costs, well thats what I am now going to do! And they better give me back my money or else lawyer time!.

We don’t understand how we can be charged £334 per month. This is what We should be paying on average yearly if I check the average monthly electricity cost for a 3 bedroom family house.

Do not sign up to BULB they are totally incompetent! I have been charged for two supplies in a small 3 bed house, despite several emails explaining they are charging me for the total KW usage the meter has ever used as another supply- they shouldn’t be allowed to trade completely useless complaints department- excuses all the time. I am contacting the Ombudsman over the appalling mistakes.

This company is bloody annoying ringing up to 40 times a day trying to make you join up. Please stop harassing people and business your a nuisance and just look at the other feed back you are receiving clearly your not rated by the public and other businesses.

Stay away from bulb energy as much as you can .We use bulb energy since we have moved in(18 months ago )and we asked for help to replace the meters around 20 times ,we have paid the bills always in time but they always ignored us .On top to that 10 -12 weeks ago we have got a problem with the electrical meter ,(display is blank and when we're trying to top up the key give us an error 5111) we've tried to contact them at emergencies and they still ignored us , can someone help us with some information ?Where we should complain or do I have to ask a solicitor to make a court claim asap ? Run away from Bulb energy as much as you can .....The power could be off anytime in the house and they still ignored us

STEER CLEAR! Literally the worst provider. They will coax a metre reading out of you by bribing you with an "overestimated usage" then once they have it they will just hit you with obscene amounts of debt with no proof of usage. They'll charge you £200 a month out of nowhere for a 1 bed flat you call them to ask wtf, they'll ask you for a meter reading, once you give it it will magically rise to £250 when you haven't used that much energy in the slightest. Stay away from them seriously I want out and I feel trapped. Run by devils honestly.

Avoid! They kept increasing my direct debit (without warning went from £35 to £80) then before leaving them (and after a bill adjustment where my final bill was £5) I suddenly received an apparent bill of £175 that I need to pay as of now or they will take it to a third party. I dont know how from £5 it went to £175 with no changes at home and only appliances and lighting as heating goes through another company (so winter not an excuse). I dont have an issue paying what I owe, however they gave my account credit and suddeny added £170...also didnt advise me of my account getting out of the usual amount....no explanations, just contacting me to demand money.

They are lucky to get one star. I tried to tell them that a house was empty as the occupier had left. Even after many attempts I could not get them to understand I did not have an account and I kept being told my details were not recognised - they would not be as I am not a customer,merely somone trying to keep them informed . Truly hopeless service .Avoid .......

I wouldn't even put a star if I didn't have to because I switched to bulb by my daughters recommendation I was told it was going to be 25 pound each (gas/electric) A MONTH. I went on holiday for 31 days came back and my bill was £76 the only that was on was my fridge/freeze and 1 light on and off so I guess I was ripped of to. and by the way I sent 2 the same reading and they came back a different price and now they want us to have smart meters adding extra cost to the bills hope this helps 👌 CAN ANY BOADY RECOMMENDED A GAS AND ELECTRIC SUPPLIER THAT DOESNT CHARGE EXIT FEES

Slow & Incompetent. My tenants signed up to Bulb. From having to deal with them as an organisation -endless chat conversations, no telephone support - i wouldn't touch them ever again.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH BULB ENERGY Totally useless, They increase your payments all the time. Especially after joining, Complaints - "no one takes any notice, They lost £750 of my money I paid, and I had to prove I paid!!! So I cancelled my direct debit and set up a standing order to stop them taking more money than was agreed. They really got confused when they realised they were not able to increase my direct debit., Bulb do not respond to emails or complaints. So Ofgem is my next step

I switched to bulb as I heated so much positive feedback.once I switched I had nothing but problems.my metre turned out to be broken it took bulb a month to resolve this worse of all i was left with no storage heaters.now new metre is in I don’t notice any difference none at all in my usage .bulb can not offer me a smart metre either with in 2021 is shocking

I sold my house. I am emigrating. My buyers agreed to take over my account. We were offered £50 each to refer. My buyers and I did all the right things. Bulb have told me I am not entitled to £50. It’s a con. They haven’t answered me. Shut me down. And they are NOT cheap

I was quoted £90 a month. Over one year I got into debt for £1,200. I was not notified. I am slowly paying off the debt. However, they put up my monthly payment to £210 without my permission. My minimum payment is now £162 a month which is double what I paid with previous supplier. I have a cold flat now to save money and pay the debt. They are not a good supplier.

Was promised warm home discount would arrive nearly one month ago. They admit they had delays. This is NOT my fault. If you say you will pay, then pay. I said I was moving and they said they would pay cheque to my address. Now they won't. Cheats They say they cannot operate my new smart meters. But they say they will pay what they promised if I change my supply to them at my new address knowing that because they cannot operate the meters there will be problems and malfunctioning. Just pay by transfer like you can do. Spent one year for dual fuel with them, now they cheat me. Don't close original account and pay what you promised and then close account Why be like this You used to be a fair company. Now getting greedy.

Awful was quoted £55 a month for a one bedroom flat a month gas and electric great! Untill two months after signed up my bills are now £90 to £110 a month! Never paided such a high amount and because there so high struggling paying so in debt by £70 need to leave ASAP British Gas where a lot cheaper big mistake!

Still trying to get my credit on my account refunded, atrocious customer service. Bulb just badger you for monthly payments and when you are in credit make it as difficult as possible to get money they owe you refunded! So far the whole process of switching to this company has been regrettable.

I wish that I could give them 0 stars. I was attracted by the green energy label and they offered about 50% reduction in bills compared to British gas. By the time I left, I was paying double of what I used to pay BG. To add insult to injury, despite being given sufficient notice about the leaving day and the current resident signing up to another provider (yes, I warned her about these cowboys), bulb decided to charge another 14 days. Avoid bulb like the plague. You've been warned.
