“I am really pleased with my new bed - it is beautifully upholstered and excellent quality. The ottoman provides plenty of storage space for spare bedlinen and is easy to open. The delivery guys were very helpful and made sure the bed was fitted together and in place.”

“I did my research before visiting the showroom and I was not disappointed. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and were happy for us to take our time testing out the mattresses. We have been sleeping on our new bed for a few weeks now and we love it.”

“Choosing a bed at Button & Sprung was a delight. We tried lots of different mattresses and were even able to spend half an hour doing a test sleep. The staff gave us lots of useful information about all the different types, but we felt no pressure to buy. As a result we were very confident in our final decision and after about 3 months of use we remain delighted with our bed.”

“The service was fine. The products look good in pictures, but come with two design issues -- one of which I would call a flaw. Button & Sprung platforms are high, so when you put a nice mattress on them, you're REALLY high. Be prepared to be higher up than you've ever been in bed. Then there's the flaw: Button & Sprung platforms are sized exactly as mattresses. This means that once you make the bed, the thickness of even the most modest mattress protector, sheets and blanket make the mattress appear too big for the platform, as it's hanging over. A simple fix that would make Button & Sprung beds look a lot better is if 2cm were added to on either side and to the length of its platforms. A made bed would look a whole lot better!”

Hi Gary, Thanks so much for your review, and for your feedback. We always welcome feedback on our products, as this helps us to create the best products we can for customers! Regarding the height, I agree - this does depend a lot on your mattress, and also with your personal preference of whether you like being a bit higher up. We get some customers asking whether we can lower the height, and others asking to make it even higher, so we try and meet in the middle. However, we do have some lower leg options from a third party company if the bed is slightly too high. The decision to create a bed where the mattress sits flush to the base (and therefore different to our competitors) was actually intended, for a few reasons. Firstly, this reduces the overall footprint of the bed, meaning you have a bit more space in the room (sometimes to the point of being able to go up a bed size). Secondly, we find that bases which extend beyond the mattress can result in you bashing your shins as you go past (which is pretty painful!). It also makes using our ottomans a lot easier, as you're less likely to trap your fingers in the base. I hope this helps explain our thought process, and thanks again for leaving us a review. “I am very pleased with my bed and mattress. On the day, the delivery team called before they were due to arrive, and took no time at all in setting up the bed and mattress, and removing all the packaging. Although there was an issue with the mattress, they sent out a technician very quickly who was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the issue. He even gave me a helpful tip on how to open and close the ottoman safely! The issue was resolved with no fuss, and I'm a very happy customer.”

“The delivery was speedy, but they scratched my wooden floors in the bedroom. They also parked in the middle of the road (it is a narrow road) and when someone needed to get past they made him wait and sorted out the bed first. I wasn't kept informed with the delivery. I was told I would be called as I had a school run to do. I received no call, I had to chase and then they were significantly later than originally told...which wasn't a problem, but I didn't have to wait and get someone else to do the school run”

“Visited their showroom after finding the brand online to be greeted with friendly staff and offered a coffee whilst we were given a tour of the showroom and talked through their product range. We were not in a position to place an order that day which we made clear to the sales advisor but that didn’t put them off providing excellent service and sending us away with various fabric swatches for us to discuss. We placed an order about a month later after securing our new home and the process was very simple. Our bed arrived on time, in perfect condition matching out specs exactly. The delivery team assembled the bed and removed packaging in a professional manner. Overall the service cannot he faulted and our bed has reciebed endless compliments from guests who we have happily pointed in the direction of button and srung.”

“The service at Button & Sprung is second to none. I spent a while deliberating about fabric options - the team were on hand to guide me through the process. In the end I decided on the Perendale Mattress, and am now experiencing a delightful nights rest. The mattress perfectly contours to my body, giving me amazing support.
