“I always have an excellent experience when visiting Calumet in Wardour Street, London. I know I will receive good, sound advice and they always have what I want in stock. I couldn't recommend the highly enough.”

“Always a good experience shopping at Calumet, staff all very knowledgable and when they don't know something they're not ashamed to ask a colleague rather than blag. Shame they don't stock Sony cameras.”

“I pop up in your Euston (London) store for a couple of items : 1.) An air cushioned light stand 2. wall mount light stands The person I approached was helpful I found the stand i was looking for, but when looking for the the wall mounts the person serving me noticed the items were showing in stock in the system but he couldn't find the items. He ask somebody else as he mentioned he did not have access to certain area, he made contact with this person who went inside to look for the items came out again he didn't bother to tell us the result of the search and instead went to serve to another customer, both of us were left waiting and the salesman serving me at the tilt apologise to me for an action that was completely unprofessional, I left the store with no wall mounts and i guess I will look for them somewhere else.”

“After attending your Spring Open Day in Edinburgh and buying a canon 24 - 70 lens which was reduced by £40. Then looking on your website two or three days only to it was further reduced by another £50, I was not pleased. I will know the next time I attend a Spring Open Day not to buy any of the days offers and wait until it appears on your website later or buy from another supplier.”

“I purchased my Canon Power Shot SX60 HS from the Drummond Street Store in London 24th April 2015. I had only gone to enquire about the type of camera I might need to improve my wildlife photography. However, I was so impressed with the help & advice I received that I decided to purchase the above camera.”

“I bought a lens from Calumet at the recent Photography Show in Birmingham. The Calumet staff were very attentive and dealt with my questions in a way that I could understand the technical elements of their answers. They also had a good sense of humour which made dealing with them good fun. I received the lens only 2 days after ordering! Fantastic service.”

“Attended the open day and bought a tripod head from the manager. He was very helpful and suggested a less expensive model than the one I was going to buy. He said it would suit my needs and he was right and I appreciate saving money and his advice.”

“It's always nice to buy anything from Calumet as you stock good items and the staff are very knowledgeable. My only comment about this recent purchase was that it seemed to take a long time to arrive (over 3 weeks). The item is something you normally stock and the supplier had them in stock too (they're based in Manchester). I'm certainly not complaining as the item only cost £10, and by the time you'd shipped it from your main warehouse to my local branch (in it's own overly-packed box) and also posted me a separate invoice, it probably cost you more than you make in profit. Maybe you need to simplify your online ordering process for small/cheap items - I'm really only saying this to save you guys money as you're the only proper camera shop left, and you've obviously got competition from mail-order only businesses. thanks, Ben.”

“I've used Calumet for some time and always received a very good service, however, on this occasion they have not delivered the level of service I expect to receive. Calumet had been identified as a UK outlet for the Gary Fong equipment I needed for my business. I completed my order and paid in full for the equipment required, the order was completed on the 2nd April but I'm still awaiting delivery of the key (Gary Fong Light Sphere) items ordered. I have received part of the order, however this item can not be used without the main items ordered. I had not been informed by Calumet of any expected delay and only discovered on Monday 27th April, following my enquiry to them, that they had been experiencing problems with their supplier based in Germany. It would have been good practice to have been notified of any delay with the delivery of the equipment that I ordered.”

“As newbies to learning about "in house videos" for testimonials we had amazing help in understanding and buying the equipment we needed. The advice was specific and tailor made to provide us with an exact solution. Really happy with the LED lighting rig and the advice on setting up the canon 5d.”

“I took my camera (Canon 1D mk 4) to Calumet to get the sensor cleaned, as marks were showing up on my photos. They did an excellent job of the cleaning, but my only quibble is that they changed some of the settings on the camera (jpeg instead of RAW, auto white balance instead of manual) and didn't change them back. I found out the hard way after I'd taken some photos!”
