“Was very pleased with an on the day money off offer. Would have been better if a free spare battery was on offer too. Some discrepancy with pricing for items being sold individually and as a package (latter was more expensive) but was corrected by staff member. A bit busy for my liking and may prefer to shop when less people around..”

“Fast delivery, arrived earlier than anticipated. However, one star off due the camera body having signs of handling, maybe tests or demonstrations have been done clearly- finger prints etc. I am not too concerned with such things as the camera works fine and I trust Calumet... but some other customers may think or suspect otherwise. Keep a note of that! Many thanks.”

“I will always try to make Calumet my first choice as long as they are price competitive - they are one of the few big online players who still run a chain of outlets stocked with "enthusiastic amateur/professional" equipment and run by very knowledgable staff. I can only give 4 stars as they can't always compete with the online only companies but I will pay a small premium to have the backup of a real shop to discuss my needs and actually touch the products - if you don't use them you lose them...... “I went to the Manchester store who were very helpful with me I ordered a camera body which was out of stock they ordered me one in for the next day and telephoned me when it came into the shop, there was a free camera bag with the camera body again none in stock but it landed on my front door the very next day via a courier. Calumet staff go that extra mile to help not like other big name stores where they want you to buy a product and are not clued up about the item. They give you a honest opinion about repairs as well as I had a older camera with me, they also gave me some good tips and advice about my new camera. Staff were brilliant this is where I will shop from now on. Kevin Gallagher, Manchester.”

“I ordered a printer at The Photo Show from Calumet. I was unaware that the printer was placed on back order, and delivery would be delayed by 4-5 weeks. However, once Calumet were aware that I needed the printer asap, they were very helpful and it was delivered within about 2 weeks. It was despatched via next day courier on the day that they received the stock - so in the end they had a very happy customer in me.”

“Purchased a Calumet pro-series remote shutter release for £10. Bought online and collected from store the next day. Excellent product. Does exactly what it's advertised to do. Visit to the shop allowed me to also talk about lenses and to try out a couple in preparation for my next big spend. The whole experience in the shop was excellent. Superb service from real photography people. Recommended 100%”

“The guys know the subject and can give advice on what I need. It's a relaxing atmosphere in the shop, no pressure to buy but there when you need them for guidance and help. One shop I like going into and going back. When I'm ready to upgrade my camera I will be paying them a visit, for sure.”

“Dropped into the store in Manchester for sensor cleaning of my two camera bodies (D3X & D4). Staff had advised over the phone of the best time to arrive on Friday morning and I was in and out within the 30mins promised. Barely had time to look around the store! Great service.”
