“The product was as stated on ordering. I think the £4.99 postage for sending a lens cap was excessive. The item could have gone in a jiffy bag and been posted first class for a lot less”

“Service from Calumet Manchester was very good considering the carrier FedEx dumped the the package at the nearest pub! Which was only discovered by the efforts of the manager of calumet Manchester!”

“Athough I've known about this company a long time, I only made my 1st purchase a few months ago. My initial purchase was an excellent item, though there was some confusion over the date of delivery. I have since bought from one of their London shops, and most recently ordered online. This was speedily delivered and is an excellent product.”

“I saw a lens that I was interested at a cheaper price elsewhere and they matched the price over the phone. I collected the lens in person that afternoon. Happy customer. The only thing that would make it sweeter would be a process for doing this all online. I.E. I go onto the website, put in the page that has the lens at a cheaper rate, and get a code that can be applied at checkout for the difference. No phone required.”

“I ordered four items; one arrived within 48 hours, two more within a week, and the fourth - listed as out of stock - is yet to arrive. All very well packaged, and exactly as described. A very good customer experience. Thank you.”

“The product i purchased was good and as described and i was pleased to find that the price had been significantly reduced which meant i could buy extra items. (Calumet speedlights down by 50%.) i bought 4 instead of 2. One area for improvement though would be to make it clear where to queue to speak to a member of staff. I waited for over half an hour to buy the speedlights despite having an order number and just needed to pick the items up. There were i think 3 counter areas and as i waited by one, someone else would come in and wait by another and get served first. this happened several times and was most annoying. I know it isa a fine balance as jessops have the opposite problem of having a dozen staff descend on you as you enter which deters one from browsing. don't want to sound like a whinger but I hope this is of some use to you.”

“In store customer service was good. Attentive Staff and good presentation of products. However I found that stock was limited (They didn't have a Nikon D810 in stock) and the staff didn't seem to have any autonomy to negotiate a deal when part exchanging goods.”

“My order arrived very quickly (considering the season) and the staff were helpful. My only minor gripe is that part of the order wasn't included - a case should have been included with the package I bought - but the store assistant promptly contacted the warehouse to order this so no problem. Very happy with the camera and lenses for now!”

“I ordered online on Christmas Day so wasn't looking for Calumet's usual next day service, however whilst the goods arrived safely about 5 days later I had no indication from Calumet when they had been despatched or when to expect delivery - this info would have been useful - whenever I used the online order tracker it told me the order was "in progress". Nonetheless the goods were extremely well packed and exactly as ordered. Bearing in mind it was Christmas, perfectly satisfied and will continue to buy from Calumet”
