“Once I dealt with the store manager (Jamie) I found both him, the staff and the store in Drummond Street, London very friendly, helpful and with an amazing array of manufacturers displaying their products - easy to handle and try out! Sadly when the items I purchased were delivered some of the smaller boxes were damaged in transit but the hardly the fault of calumet I suspect. I would recommend this store and the company based on my experience of the staff and service received :-)”

“The service from Calumet was great & the film was dispatched without fuss promptly. However the courier company used did their best to ruin a good service. I missed first delivery, rang up arranged another time, didn't show up, after 4 days waiting went to pick up in person, they couldn't the item! Thankfully a diligent employer delivered in person, in his own time, which I am very grateful for. But Calumet might want to review using Fed Ex in this region in future?”

“I entered the Drummond Street shop, purchased a lens, and left. The transaction was perfectly straightforward, as it should have been, and does not warrant a review. One more thing – I speak for many fellow customers when I say that the frequency of Calumet emails is beginning to generate hostility towards the brand.”

“All very quick and very helpful. I had some questions afterwards and the after service I received was very good and much appreciated. Would have liked a bit more info on when delivery was coming etc- but I understand that rests with the delivery company's processes and not Calumet !”

“Overall service was good, website is easy to use. In my case I applied for financing and the only reason why I am providing 4 stars out of 5 is that, once I had clearance for financing with V12, nobody cared about sending an email to confirm that the camera had been shipped.”

“I like Calumet a lot and their range, prices and customer service is excellent. I would have given a 5 star rating were it not for the rather antiquated ordering system. I have shopped in store, phone order and on-line, sometimes popping into Milton Keynes to pick up orders. However, the "system" has created numerous accounts and the staff at MK have found it the devils own job to find my order despite my having the order copy printed off by me in my hand! This has now happened on a couple of occasions and is a little exasperating to have to add on 5-10mins each visit for what should be a simple process. I appreciate this may be a one-off issue, but a new(er) system would be able to locate the customer quicker surely? Recently I was picking up two orders one on-line and one by phone. The on-line was not coming up but the phone order was! Ironically I only did the phone order as the on-line system wasn't applying an on-line discount. The staff were great both on the phone and in MK and in MK they promised to get the 'IT Elves' to make sure that in future the accounts should be pointing in the right direction. That's really good as when mistakes happen it is how it get's sorted out that counts. However, some review on the IT systems would be good to sort out some of these issues.”

“The Brilliant paper arrived quickly, was inexpensive and works well. What stops it being very good is there are no technical specs for Brilliant paper and the supplied .icc profiles - where they exist - aren't as good as using the Epson generic settings. But perhaps I'm being a bit miserable - the matt paper produces lovely images once you've done sufficient tests.”

“I shop my most photographic stuff from Calumet- Drummond Street. It always helps to go to a store and see and feel what you are buying before than order online. That works with me anyways..... Also I use quite a few Calumets own branded stuff like, a Gimbal head, a tripod, various lighting equipment and so on.... They are really good value for money.”

“I have only recently started professional photography, and the staff at Calumet Birmingham have been incredibly helpful. I shoot with a Pentax K-50 and its not always easy to find kit; Adele and her team at Calumet have tried, where possible, to keep me in mind when something comes up. If you are a photographer in Birmingham I would highly recommend building a relationship with the team at Calumet.”
