“Items ordered before Christmas but still awaiting delivery of Cokin 72mm adaptor, without which the other item - Cokin ND grad kit - is frustratingly unusable. I appreciate that this is not necessarily Calumet's fault but the adaptor seems to be available through Amazon.”

“I always feel comfortable when I visit Calumet that they truly understand my requirements, and the products that they are selling - whilst no one has ever come across as a "salesman". They really do have good knowledge of the equipment they sell. And I have never felt that when I have asked for advice I have been offered anything other than the right product for me (no trying to sell the most expensive one in the shop, or the one that pays the most commission!). They always have the time to spend with their customers; ok, this can on occasion be frustrating when you are waiting to be served and feel the guy in front is just asking too many questions. But then when it's your turn ....... it's different! I'm a regular visitor, and will continue to be so.”

“Disappointing service over Christmas , ordered a tripod boxing day but i had realistic expectations of delivery over Christmas. Nearly a week later it had not turned up and no contact so i called customer services to discover the tripod had been sent (no dispatch notice received) but the courier was unable to find the address (the same address that the postman and everybody else finds) the courier actually tried to tell me the address was wrong, as if i was confused about where i live. In the end i had to go and collect the tripod from the couriers depot, costing me time and money! So why no dispatch notification? why no phone call despite having my mobile number? incompetent courier (and i suspect dishonest) and poor service all round.”

“I bought X-rite colormunki after I attended a 2 day course run by Andy Astbury at the Manchester branch. The training was first class and I decided there was a significant benefit in calibrating my computer to improve my image work flow. The software was easy to set up and the benefits of using this software has made a clear difference to my work. The staff member in store was very helpful and I am always impressed by the service whenever I visit this store. Bernard Fleming”

“I have used Calumet this last twelve months or more to help me get my business up & running, be it with walking into my nearest store some 40miles away in Manchester or ordering on line and getting things delivered. I've even used them for some unfortunate repairs to a camera, flash & lens after a fall. None of which were covered by Insurance at the time as these were personal items before I started my business with all new equipment. I can honestly say my face to face shopping experience was great and the staff new what they were talking about. My ordering on line and on the phone have also been very easy to accomplish. All deliveries have arrived on time when stated and often delivered free of charge due to having spent over £100 on each occasion which is a bonus. I've purchased various items including some of Calumets own products and so far I have been very happy with the quality of each item. I will continue to use them and would always recommend others to do the same.”

“Hi guys I'd honestly say that calumet is a 3.5, you're always normal, sometimes amazing but other times very poor. Generally the service is good, but emails have gone unreplied. The service inshore can be incredible but often when you start chatting to various members of staff you get a look that says "oh my god, you're are going to cause me hassle". I spent 7 years working in sales for a high end music manufacturer, dealing everyday with the end c”
