I ordered some background rolls over the phone. One had to come from the warehouse and one from a store. Despite asking for a Saturday delivery one of the rolls arrived the following week. Luckily during my shoot.

The customer service regarding the parcel deilevry was very poor. There was no notification from UPS that they were going to deliver. No message was left by UPS that they failed to deliver. No message from Calumet that the parcel was not successfully delivered until i made an enqury to customer service several days later. Other couriers alert me when delivery is on the way. i am sure this service can be improved as it should not impact on good product from Calumet.

The kid (Jack) in Manchester was more interested in backchatting and playing on his iphone rather than looking after customers. If i were i would be immersed in the equipment, learning all there is to know and puuting myself in a strong position to aid customers when they walk in the door. Instead whatever's going on on snapchat seems to be more Jack's cup of soup. That Manchester store is the pits.

I attended the Mixed Light course on Friday 10th February at your Manchester store. I feel the way in which Jason taught was disappointing. Key points are as follows - 1) There were no reference slides or notes which means delegates had to simply keep up or lose the thread of his point.I mentioned emailing notes out after the course but as with any training / education process its better to have something to look at as you learn. Consider the different ways different people retain information - audio / written / visual etc.. 2) Whilst asking what we wanted to get from the course Jason wrote a note about me that said 'what is photography?' and passed it to another delegate. I'm sure he meant this as a 'joke' but its knocked my confidence and very unprofessional on his part. 3) I arranged a train around the published end time(3pm) only to find the course was running late I therefore missed the end of the session and questions time. Finally, for you Calumet, you need to find photographers who can teach. They may not have the most glamorous experience but they need to be able to come prepared, get their point across to mixed abilities, leaving people feeling they've learnt from the experience.

I ordered a Profoto B1 online but didn't receive any email confirmation. I called Calumet to see if the order went through and was told that it hadn't. So I made a 2 hr round trip to the store on Drummond St to buy one in person only to find the next morning I had the original order arrive on my doorstep.

The front service in the Drummond st shop was impeccable but the rest of the communication via email was just terrible. Managers, responsible for my orders were not answering ANY of my emails and things were not being done even after several time i called on the phone. Very poor customer service

I was just upset that you guys seemed to take the side of the kit and the manufacturer rather than that of the customer. I had an issue with a Fuji lens having an error and instead of replacing it you guys sent it back to the manufacturer to be refurbished. Almost every other retailer would replace the lens outright since it was still well in the manufacturers and your warranty period. Just seems strange to me that this is the way you treat your customers...now I must wait weeks without my lens to even hear what will happen with the lens.

I had a problem when tried to confirm the adress and I almost went out without the product. The company took very long to answer my emails (when answered) and there was a very confusing process to arrange the deliver. Never had such a problem on any of my online purchasing, and I´m actually very active on it.

Calumet were happy to match the price of my local camera store on a tripod I was interested in, however, the store I visited only keeps one in stock at a given time. This tripod is then put out on display until it is sold. This didn't bother me too much so I bought it anyway, however, I've now noticed that one of the legs is loose (Manfrotto 055CXPRO4) and have contacted Calumet to go about getting the product replaced.

Very long wait at the counter again. Frustrating when only 2 staff serving at the sales counter and other staff could be seen around the shop but not offering to come and serve customers in the queue.

Customer service was excellent, but I don't think the quality of the job was worth the price. I paid for a sensor cleaning service and after taking a few test shots I still noticed a lot of dust spots in the sensor. I got a call from your staff and she explained me that there might be a manufacturing problem in an specific area of the sensor, something she couldn't fix. But the spots I saw were all over the place. Maybe I misunderstood what she meant, but I basically paid £36 for nothing.

Highly pushy salesman who didn't listen to my needs and sold me products that I didn't actually need and will be taking back.

I recently purchased a set of inks for my printer. When the package arrived there were two missing so I was unable to do the work that I needed to do. I was then told they would be in stock on a certain day and that they would then be dispatched. They're still not here and no one can tell me when they will be. a lot of professional photographers rely on you to keep them working. I'm one of them, and I'm not able to do my job.

Was very disappointed that the camera and lens I bought from the open day was not in stock, and was told it would be a week to be delivered, and now its been 2 weeks and still not received it.

I phoned the Glasgow branch as I needed to order a roll of photographers paper and get it delivered to the SECC. After a couple of quick calls to Craig to figure out the details, I was ready to make the order. I phoned back and spoke to Alex who denied anyone called Craig worked there, and refused to take my card over the phone and also my order because he said a delivery address had to match the credit card (billing) address. This is completely ridiculous and the opposite of what Craig told me. After messing me about for about 5 minutes - he never offered a solution and suggest that I go online to complete the transaction where it can easily be done. How frustrating and what a waste of time. I know that Alex was familiar with my call to Craig because he knew that I was trying to arrange to have a courier collect the item for me Sunday (as I was traveling from Brighton). Not sure what the point of these guys being so unhelpful was all about; I was able to provide the three digit code on the back of my business card!!!

One of the tightening screws on the "heavy-duty" lighting stand sheared completely from the body, under very little pressure, on its first outing. The fractured metal appears to be very flimsy, and of uneven thickness around the screw hole, which would account for its failure. I will keep the 4m stand as a 3m stand because I don't have time to mess around returning it.

I ordered background paper on a Monday afternoon for a job with a client on the Wednesday. I asked that the paper be sent direct to the client & opted to pay for guaranteed next day delivery. I had a phone call on Tuesday afternoon from the client saying that the paper had still not arrived. I immediately phoned Calumet to find out what had happened & was told that the carrier had sent it to the wrong depot & that it was not Calumet's fault. After an argument, Calumet told me that I would be 'upgraded' to a before 9.30am delivery on the Wednesday. I did not receive any kind of apology from Calumet. The customer experience was a disgrace!
