I would love to write a review but i ordered my camera on May 28th and it still hasn't arrived . Maybe when i get it i would happily write a review.

Unfortunately do not take notice of emails. Asked and confirmed not to have items delivered before the 28th of June as no one available to take delivery, only to return home on the 27th after a weeks holiday to find a card that said tried delivering on the 24th!!

I have always bought directly from the Manchester shop and been completely satisfied. However I was disappointed this time when I ordered some lens cleaning fluid. I tried to order it online but your system wouldn't work. I then rang the order through and paid over £4 rapid delivery on a £10 item. I needed the item quickly as I was going on a trip. The item didnt arrive in time and then turned up 3 weeks later. I would use you again for face to face purchases but would prefer to use WEX or Amazon for online purchases for reliable delivery.

Went to open day to buy 3 items, an 80d a 70-200 2.8 2 lens and a 1.4 converter. No items in stock, 5 days for camera and converter and up to 3 weeks for the lens. Shockingly poor. On an open day.

While I have nothing to say regarding the material I purchased, the information provided (updates, online info on the Calmet Site) by Calumet was poor. I had to contact the firm at multiple occasions and was told there is known problem with the site that does not provide an updated status of orders. Furthermore, I was told I would be informed me as soon as the camera was dispatched, which was not done.

Normally I have no problems and cannot fault Calumet. I went for a spare battery and was given the wrong one, I then had to make a 60 mile round trip to exchange it. :-(

After checking verbally with one of your agents on March 31st I went ahead with my order as I was due to away and required it before April 15th. The order is a sigma 150-600 lens and a USB dock. I was told that it would be a week for delivery. After 9 days as my order hadn't arrived, I phoned and was told that you would now order it then, I asked wha then as you had already promised me it would only take a week. I explained to your agent that I needed my order by April 15th or I'll cancel and go elsewhere. I was promised my order would be delivered by Thursday lunchtime, so I agreed. My order did arrive but minus the USB dock so yiu can imagine how very disappointed at at being misled I am. I have emailed your "customer care" asking it to be escalted ti higher management, as yet no acknowledgement or reply. This whole episode has been very disappointing and annoying for me. You need to tell customers the truth. I am still awaiting my USB dock and I'm not holding my breath as goodness knows when it will arrive. You had my money for 9 days before any action, which was instigated ny myself, was taken. I am away on a 4 day shoot without the lens and USB dock I wanted to use. So it would be only correct if you would answer the points I have raised in this review. I await your comments with interest.

The camera I ordered was showing as out of stock with more stock due in soon. I checked back a couple of weeks later to see that it was marked as not going to be re-stocked on the website, I had to chase customer service to find out whether this meant that my order was going to be honoured or not as there was no proactive communication about this. Turns out it wasn't so I was refunded, I wonder if this would have happened if I hadn't chased it. Not good service by modern standards.

Staff were very happy to sell you an item (or two), staff in store and on the phone are polite, but can sometimes come across like they know better than you without knowing you, but were unable to get stock in on time. I waited 4 months for a product to eventually be delivered to me, after making several calls and sending several emails.

Ordered on a Saturday for next day delivery, paid £4.99. I expected it to arrive on the Tuesday as it was bank holiday on the Monday. It didn't arrive until Wednesday afternoon. Shame as I missed out on some photography work that I needed it for. I called on Tuesday to enquire where the order was and was told that a Saturday was not a normal working day to place an order and this was why it came a day later than I had expected :( Jane

Initially very helpful, however the Bristol store tried to sell me a display model that was clearly used for the full £2500. Not a good first impression. I was then promised a next day replacement shipped to my house which took 2 more days, rather annoying and makes you consider using in the future.

Goods advertised, fine, but payment taken straight away when item out of stock. It then took approximately 4 weeks before anything was done in chasing replacement stock and this was only initiated because I telephoned to ask what was happening. Item finally arrived about a week later to late for the reason it was required. D Brett

I ordered some Fujifilm FP-100C film that was listed as in stock. I waited a week or so before I was told it was unavailable. The money was taken from my account when I ordered, and refunded at a later date. I am disappointed that the money left my account at all.

Ordered 6 different types of film, I've received two large boxes to sign for so far, one containing lots of packaging and 3*TriX, and one lots of packaging and one 5-pack of Portra. Two different delivery companies. How many more packages before I get the full order???

I ordered on the 8th March, selecting free next day delivery. Six days later and the product finally arrives. Not good enough. The Honl Traveller 8 is a fantastic product though, despite the high price. I've got a couple now which I use with Nikon Speedlights. They work a treat and are ideal if you want to shoot portraits without a studio to back you up. So - great product, bad delivery. Perhaps a one off on the delivery front, but if you need something from these guys quick I'd confirm with them first, and maybe just pop in to collect for peace of mind.

Despite I truly love the store, I think that Drummond street has a problem with coordination. When trying to book a seminar using my student discount, I had to go to the store as there is no clear way to make the payment with the discount using the online form. Also, once a retail assistant helped me purchase with a discount, my confirmation email didn't tell me the time of my seminar, so I had to phone customer service (who said that would call me, but never did) and Drummond Street, who took more than 30 minutes to find my booking. Secondly,it took me more than 3 weeks to organise a 1:1 free tuition meeting, as no retail assistant knew what to do do with this and the manager didn't reply my email.

I ordered a 20X16 developing dish and was told it might take up to 10 days. OK, but I had to pay in full up front. After 3 weeks I called back to enquire what happened? The order had apparently got lost. I got an apology and was told my order would be expedited. About a week later it arrived. so a bit of a glitch somewhere.

I paid for a used camera at £399 which included a discount through the Disabled Photography Society. But poor communication from Calumet Customer Services has put me off buying from them again in the future. Good sales experience at point of sale but NO delivery details are provided with the sales invoice and after sales communication is poor. Was fobbed off with a £20 voucher as a complimentary gesture of good will
