“Impressive next day delivery with main item but, disappointed that I have not yet received the LP-E6N battery for the camera as the offer made. Maybe it is still on back order! I have received the compact flash card which was also included when ordering. This was a back order also. Maybe someone can let me know when the battery will be sent.”

“Simple and effective material to use. The question is whether the generator actually powers the Nikon SB-910? Apparently is the case. I now use regularly for events and this seems to work properly. The only small criticism is the charger. I work in Switzerland and the electrical outlets are made in GB. For international customers, it is useful to note.”

“The store is very near Euston station so easy to get to and they have a wide variety of products, but not many within each range. The staff are perhaps too fast to approach you and loiter making it hard to just look and I did have to correct them on a few things that they got wrong about the products I was looking at as I had previously done my research online.”

“Purchased a Nikon 50ml F1.8 lens, was disappointed to find the lens pouch was missing, had to call at the shop the next day to collect it. Still pleased with the purchase but just took the edge of it.”

“I have just ordered two items by next day delivery. One - a Low Pro back pack- was ordered on a Thursday and it took until Monday afternoon to arrive. The second - a be free Manfrotto tripod -was ordered on a Monday and arrived promptly the next morning. I was a bit annoyed about the first delivery but the second one made up for it. I received some very good advice over the phone about what travel tripod to buy.”

“I've always found the Calumet Belfast store to be great. They carry an extensive range of enthusiast to pro level gear in store. Pricing tends to be in line with online UK pricing in my experience. Its great to have this quality photo/video retailer in Northern Ireland. There are some things for which buying online just doesn't cut it. Nothing beats being able to try before you buy. I hope the Belfast store continues to expand and be successful for years to come.”

“the purchase was via ebay for a second hand profoto soflight reflector grid.. The grid had some slight damge but was sold as seen so no worries. what was more concerning was the issue that the grid keeps falling out from the dish as the springs are only just contacting the rim... I am sure I can overcome these issues and thanks for the questionnaire James”

“I have been waiting to get to a salesperson for a while - to be able to get his valuable help, but once I asked the questions, he was able to give me a good advice to meet my needs. I ended up buying twice as expensive equipment because of the advantages I was clearly presented with. Good sales approach. My invoice was wrong though and I wasn't asked to check it before printing - as long as the name matched, it was good to go, so here is a minus. Overall 9/10 experience.”

“Everyone was very pleasant, they knew their stuff, and were not pushy. All good there. However, when I spend £2.5k on a camera, I love it if the shop throws something in as a thank you; a memory card, a dust kit, a peripheral, something like that. Would still come back though.”

“Always a good experience shopping at Calumet, staff all very knowledgable and when they don't know something they're not ashamed to ask a colleague rather than blag. Shame they don't stock Sony cameras.”

“I took my camera (Canon 1D mk 4) to Calumet to get the sensor cleaned, as marks were showing up on my photos. They did an excellent job of the cleaning, but my only quibble is that they changed some of the settings on the camera (jpeg instead of RAW, auto white balance instead of manual) and didn't change them back. I found out the hard way after I'd taken some photos!”
