“V helpful and knowledgeable staff - who offer their personal experiences with cameras ... Hence it is good to listen to more than one sales person when spending a lot of money! Impressed that Calumet despatched a lens to my house by bike - when it failed to appear in the shop on the agreed date - I got it on time for my holiday! Good customer attitude! I'll be back......:)”

“Good comms and very fast delivery.Documentation clear and packing good.Unfortunately due to a quality issue the camera bag had to be returned and it took 4 emails before my concerns were addressed.Once this supplier did respond,and apologised for dela, the item was picked up within 48hrs and I am now awaiting a full credit.”

“Helpful staff, although some of the responses to my e-mail questions were quite slow. Item ordered was exactly what I was looking for and got a good deal. The courier they used dropped the package off at a neighbour's without a signature or a note through my door but luckily I have honest neighbours. Overall though, I had a good experience with Calumet and would use them again - unlike Jessops, who gave poor advice, poor value and dreadful service. Never again.”

“CF Cards are not as rock solid as you always hope they are. One of my Sandisc 16Gb does not want to know anything. Even using their own software to re/re format. Now in the Lexar camp and we will see . Fast enough to write d800 files and not wait for the buffer to drive you crazy. When you spend time and a lot of effort shooting it always seems that you should never shoot on a budget card.”

“The attitude of staff in the Glasgow Branch has improved greatly in recent times. For the first time ever I was asked about my photographic interests and was told about an upcoming event relating to that interest. prices are still marginally above those of other online and High Street retailers, but good and informed service counts for more with me.”

“Best source for Epson printers and Epson and other papers in the Manchesterarea. I no longer use Canon cameras; I now use Olympus and Panasonic "Micro 4/3rds" cameras and lenses. It is very rare that I need a larger format. I think you are missing a large part of the market.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience, quick clean an easy , although the paperwork could have been better as when i came to insure my purchase with my insurers it took a bit of two and frowing but between us we got there due to me buying a kit rather than body and a lens.”

“As ever I left making the purchase of a California Sun-Bounce for a job I was working on until the last minute. A quick call to Calumet assured me that the product would arrive before the job date. It did and I was able to use the product on the job. The Sun-Bounce has really exceeded my expectations. It was an outside, sunny location for a car company with people and cars, so I needed to get some serious light into the shots. The throw on the CSB is amazing and given it's sturdy but really light weight aluminum frame the CSB is easy for an assistant to hold for long periods just in the right position. I went for the mid-sized as I think the large might just have too much of a 'sail' effect in breezy conditions.”

“The service was good but the connectors on Calumet 200w Flashtube for Genesis 200 are much longer than the original one (http://sokilla-images.com/bulb.jpg) so I cannot attach new Flashtube onto the monobloc, and I still didn't get a feedback regarding this issue.”

“Thanks Calumet Belfast for the service provided following my recent purchase. The item I ordered was out of stock and I was told I would have to wait a number of weeks, which I was prepared to do. Once the item was received, Calumet phoned to inform me.”

“You can almost always get cheaper prices online than Calumet, but most of the online sites don't include cashback, warranties etc. It is also nice to have a store to walk into and try before you buy, which is worth the extra cost. All the staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing and knew what they were talking about.”
