I made a loan,sent my docs,received the agreement and then Capitec called to say that my loan was declined because my company was not valid.

Capitec Bank stuff requires more training they don't know how to handle fraud cases.

I regret ever using this bank, it is a scam shame, my savings account has been on hold since forever, they stating that some fraud has been committed with my card, i cannot wait to finish paying their loan, and i am paying off my credit card with them and get rid of that bank, i don't even care on how it will affect my credit record

You guys are horrible bank , I feel sorry for your clients .....my card was put on hold I only saw it when I went for shopping my card declined , then I went to the bank , i was told my account is on hold because the was a fradualant activity going on . So bad no one called me and told me about it , clearly you guys don't care about your clients .....then I was told to write an affidavit , they requested another one , I was ask to go to standard bank since you guys says my documents were used there , at standard bank I was told to go to my bank ......still no help my money is locked on your bank , I don't know if you are fools or what ....you can't help your own clients

Visiting the Capitec Branch at Mooi river Mall. I was refusing entrance they wanted to sanatize me with their rubbish. Told me it is there policy. Where it displayed I asked. No awnser was given. No where there it was displayed that the door lady must spray me. I did put my own sanitizer on in front of the Lady at the door. That will be on their camera still I was refused to enter. The Lady was Loud and not customer freindly. Is tgay the way they treating customers in Potchefstroom. Maybe the must get some training how to speak to customers. I will not tell people to make use of that bank. Low cost for no service.

Capitec app is failing me.. I can't even get my things sorted out with the online payment because the Capitec app is aware of the situation.... I don't know what does that have to do with me. I just need to make sure I paid for my stuff... No customer service and I hate it

Capitec Bank Forensic Department I give up, a month ago my phone was stolen and hacked, my life savings went but they say they managed to freeze "some of the money" an undisclosed amount and till now no feedback or money. They claim to be the most advanced bank but clearly not, no red flags went on there system when my money went and when I called to freeze my account the person on the phone said they managed to freeze R80000 so far till to today dololo news or story.

The lack of customer relations is disgusting. 2/3 of your consultants have taken an urgent matter serious enough to end calls without the slightest care Definitely will be closing my accounts, and will not recommend to any person I know.

I just the most horrific experience at your Fourways Mall branch with the ā€˜second in charge’ called Melina or Melinda on Sunday. I am very unhappy and about to close my account with Capitec. I have reported this on the same day, and still no one has made contact

My iphone13 was stolen, the Capitec App was the only App that was hacked and R94000 was stolen. The fraud department are not coming back to me and i have even emailed the head of fraud and CEO and still no feedback, not even a ā€œwe are busy with the investigationā€ absolutely nothing. Really pathetic service, especially since there is a breach in their security. All the other banking app’s were safe. Your money is clearly not safe at the bank.

The app cannot be activated on the iPhone 13, went inside the bank 3 times with no luck, only to be told ā€œKeep tryingā€; called the call center that claims it’s apple’s problem. This is disappointing, I’m unable to do any payments nor transactions and capitec seem not to care. Can this issue be resolved, it’s over 2week now complaining about same thing. No value for customers!!! KS

I have a loan and credit card with Capitec bank for few years now. I pay both with a debit order every month on the 15th from my standard bank account. In September 2021 you deducted and put the amounts into my Capitec savings account, my loan and credit card went into arrears. You sad it was a technical error. This December 2021 you deducted on the 15th but till today both my loan and credit card have not been allocated with those amounts, thus they are in arrears. I called your customer care they couldn't help, went the branch nothing much came out of my visit there. This is my 3rd attempt to get this sorted, I'm very much dissatisfied with your incompetence

Seriously just another SA bank. They are happy to pay me 3% interest on 100k but try to do a transfer to another bank. Been waiting 36 yrs now. Capitec..no thank you.

On Friday 10 Dec '21 I could not access my Capitec mobile app. Phoned the Call Centre and the reply I received "Your Security check has failed", without them asking me one question! I still can't access my account. The Call Centre is of no use and this is very frustrating. What should one do now?! There is absolutely no way for me to visit a Branch. What is the use of a Call Centre if they refuse to help you in any way?! Take note Capitec, you are losing customers and I am sure you don't want this to happen.

have 2 problems with them made an online application for a loan got an offer and thy told me to visit the bank took a day of work went there with the required docs only to get there and they changed from 1 pay sip to 3 I also made received a refund to my capitec card from a online shopping platform and they refuse to pay the money to my card

I am dumbstruck. An unauthorized transaction went off my account on the 22nd of October. The response and assistance from the bank was pathetic. None the less I kept good faith that my bank will get my money back. I opened a police case, I got the affidavit sent to them, I did everything on time. Today I get told that the funds taken from me were used, and they have thus concluded my case and absolutely nothing will be done further!!! What in the hell is that??? I regret ever banking with Capitec!!! Do yourself a favour and stay far away from them!!!!

This is what happened: 1. We updated my wife's cash withdrawal limit because she urgently needed to withdraw more cash than usual. We set the limit ONLY for the cash withdrawal, but for some reason (bug probably) the internet application set the other limits to zero. We didn't know that initially. There was no warning that this was going to happen. 2. My wife went shopping and after standing in a long queue with all the goods she wants to pay, she discovered that her card gets rejected. 3. She could not get through to Capitec so she contacted me. I went onto her account an realized that the other limits silently (without warning) were changed to zero (probably when we updated the cash withdrawal limit). 4. I tried to update her limit on behalf of her, but got an error "A server error was encountered. If the problem persist call Client Care on 0860 10 20 43. (REF: 61ACE702). 5. So I called Client Care. The first agent was very friendly he mentioned that he can also assist to update the limits for her, but then his call unexpectedly dropped. The second agent was very rude and refused to help me. The third agent was willing to go through the process with me but when I read the error back to her she insisted that she need to speak to my wife. I repeated tried to explain the situation again that my wife was not with me. Then she became rude with me to and hung the phone up in my ear. I'm trying to report a system failure not hack someone account, but just because it is not my account (but actually my money, by the way) I am not allow to report problems with your systems? I find the service very unprofessional and it is this kind of server that make us wonder why we are still using banking Capitec.
