“Wonderful service at Careco Brighton. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of items on display and ready to try out. The showroom is large with parking. I purchased the new Airfold electric folding mobility scooter from Vicky, she certainly knows her scooters and is very knowledgeable. Also, tea and biscuits provided was a nice touch. I would highly recommend.”

“Visiting CareCo in Hayes was an experience! I did not know i was walking into a place where it felt like i was visiting old friends. We were offered a cup of tea and biccies, and we had a good old laugh with the sales team. I am very pleased with my purchase of a chair and i'm looking forward to receiving this over the next couple of weeks. Thank you CareCo, it's so refreshing to have a place so happy and helpful. My only negative point - it would be fab to have some music playing”

“Since Covid, CareCo is the only mobility retailer to survive in the heart of Canterbury, but my Wife and I wouldn't shop anywhere else, even if we had the luxury of other options. We have been visitors here since it opened some years ago, buying 2 scooters and a riser-recliner each in the process, with no issues whatsoever. The staff are consistently attentive, with the main emphasis placed on the right product for us both, with no hard sell. As somebody with over 30 years' experience within international sales I can assure you this is very rare. We are even greeted by name now such is our regularity, and also have got to know the team by their names too. A reassuring, caring showroom, part of a wonderfully run operation. Bravo CareCo.”

“Took my 87yr old Aunt to the sompting branch for a reading lamp and Joan couldn’t be more helpful.Unfortunately didn’t have the lamp in stock but will post it using DPD.We we’re told three to five days for delivery.Delivered the next working day at 10.45am Exactly 24hrs after walking in the shop.Excellent service from careco and DPD.Please don’t change your delivery options as we all know what Royal Mail are like.Many Thanks for once again for the fantastic service.”

“Having purchased a rise recliner chair from Careco and it performing as expected initially it within the warranty period developed a problem in the sense that it tilted to one side. I contacted customer service who advised that although it was still in warranty that I had to pay £80 for an engineer to visit. In the event that the problem was due to some sort of misuse that any repair would be chargeable but should it be a manufacturing fault that I would get my £80 back. The engineer visited and could see that on elevation the chair was creaking and groaning and sprayed various moving parts with a silicone spray which he said would fix that particular issue (it didn’t). Despite his apparent being an engineer he not only could not see that only 3 out of 4 feet were touching the floor until I shone a torch with clearly showed that one of the feet was sitting 3-5mm proud of the floor which he agreed was the problem, I suggested that he placed a straight edge across the frame to check the level but this engineer didn’t carry one in his van. Further he said it needed a new frame and he would put it in his report and send me a copy which he didn’t. To cut this long story short it took several phone calls to Careco to get a copy of his report where he had clearly misled me to sign for his visit and then sat in his van for 25 minutes writing his report to which he added my signature which suggested that I agreed with his findings which having finally seen his report I absolutely do not!!! I have now been informed that the replacement part will cost me another £80 and that the issue is down to normal wear and tear despite it being within the guarantee. I would add that I yesterday visited the store from where I purchased the chair and explained what had happened to the manager who said that the chair was still within guarantee so should be repaired and she would get my issue escalated which she did but unfortunately she’s powerless Absolute disgrace and will never deal with Careco again!!! Date of experience: 23 January 2024”

“Enquired on a Thursday afternoon about some equipment needed urgently for my wife coming out of hospital on a Saturday. Delivery arrived on time by a very helpful 2 man team for the riser chair, the products they recommended are brilliant quality and just the job, couldn’t recommend enough.”

“Absolutely top drawer experience. My wife came out of hospital on Saturday morning and her reclining chair and wheelchair arrived in the afternoon and very reasonably priced I must say. Can't recommend highly enough.”
