“It gave a good listing of recorded maintenance and the various states in which the car was registered. It shows it was damaged but no details on the type or whether or not that damage was properly repaired or if it could cause future problems. It did show a discrepancy between recorded mileage and dealer's listed mileage, which may indicate that the mileage had been changed. All in all, it was helpful in determining whether or not I was interested in buying it.”

“With our Carfax we compared our 3 vehicle options. 1 was our right away based on repair and ownership records. The other stood out as our first choice as it showed it was sold, serviced, and traded back in at the same dealer from an executive owner. Price is higher than it used to be, but it was a helpful tool.”
