“Carfax doesnt prove much of real significance... the carfax on the used truck i bought from an original owner with all maintenance records looked great, But turned out that the check engine light diode had been pulled out and there were more than 30 codes and i was stuck with a $20,000 truck that needed $10,000 worth of repairs.”

“I have already been OVERCHARGED $139.98 due to two disputed charges that Carfax has acknowledged are bogus but has not credited to me. Very very poor and now i have to file a dispute with my credit card company for carfax’s negligence. If i could give ZERO STARS i would.”

“Carfax was helpful in the sale of my 2nd vehicle that I no longer needed. I would have rated you very good had you not charged me for my second request that I do believe should have been free since it was in the time limitation. That was partially my fault. Thanks, Tim”

“Carfax is really the only source for complete information about your potential used car purchase. I've been using it lately and it has turned up some surprising information (good AND bad) about cars I was looking at. For around $20 a pop it's REALLY cheap insurance against getting taken by unscrupulous sellers. Recommend 100%.”
