“VERY DISHONEST business practices that I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. I CANNOT believe these guys have not gotten a class action lawsuit against themselves yet. I selected 1, THAT IS 1 FREAKING report and you charge me for 6 and now they WILL NOT respond to my request for assistance. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company and I will NEVER use Carfax again. I have contacted them 4 times and have gotten nothing but automated responses, the only phone number available will not let you talk to a person. “What a joke Carfax is my father-in-law bought a 1988 car brand new he recently gave it to me I ran a Carfax state of Florida used to do admissions test in 1991 the car had 9000 miles on it in 1993 and had 10,000 miles on it then in 1995 and remind you this has a six digit odometer it reads 105,000 then in 96 it reads 109,000 then in 97 it reads 117,000 miles then in 2014 when he had new tires put on at Sears auto Center it reads 13,000 miles Carfax is no help I wasted my money I’ve emailed copies of the title Which reads 14,000 miles actually red October 2019 and they refuse to do anything I wasted my money I will never use Carfax again their logo is if it’s on the Internet it must be true”

“When Carfax has incorrect records for your car, it is near impossible to get them removed. You can send in the form, but there is no number to call. They are basically unresponsive and really don't care if the records of your car are accurate or not.”

“If you have a billing problem / They will not call you back . Shut my business down in Mid- 2019 Due to cancer and they started billing me for two accounts. Can not get no one to call me back. D. “Got the information my daughter needed to buy car. Yesterday 2/13/2020 car stopped running in the middle of an interstate, no power. So guess the previous owner was not as truthful as Carfax was on paper! But I will still use carfax again when the need arises. Thanks for your service!”

“We have purchased a number of used vehicles and always run a CARFAX before purchasing. It provides a lot of good information on the history of the car, how many owners, accidents reported, and if the car has clean title that we use in making our determination on whether or not to purchase the car.”

“Some dangerous improperly repaired front suspension work that my car had done before I bought it, that I had to make the used car dealer repair under warranty (and then have partially repaired again properly by an authorized dealer after the used car dealers warranty ran out because the used car dealer used poor quality aftermarket replacement parts), were not listed on Carfax which listed no problems for the car.”
