“I was searching the internet for a 2014 BMW 535i M Sport when I located one at Luxury Auto Xchange in Chicago that seemed too good to be true. The car was equipped exactly like I wanted and the extremely low mileage made it even more attractive. At that point, I ran a Carfax in an effort to verify the mileage and check the overall condition of the vehicle. When I got the Carfax report I was delighted to see that the stated mileage was accurate and there were no other issues with the vehicle that gave me concern. Long story short, the clean Carfax report gave me the confidence to finalize the purchase. I have now owned the car for a little over a month and I couldn't be more pleased. The clean Carfax report was the key to the whole deal!”

“Carfax helped me find my first car. At the dealer I was afraid to buy it because of all the miles on it, but when I looked it up on Carfax I learned that it had been well maintained and only been used for highway miles. I'm so glad I checked and was able to get such a good deal!”

“THEY LIE AND THEN WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I'M A DEALER THAT SIGNED UP WITH CARFAX.COM. WHEN I SIGNED UP THEY TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO HAVE FREE ADVERTISING WITH PHOTOS AND LEADS OF MY VEHICLES IN THE PACKAGE I WAS GETTING. NOW THEY'RE SAYING THEY DIDN'T SAY THAT AND I HAVE IT ALL RECORDED ON MY PHONE AND IT TAKES ME LIKE A WEEK TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEBODY. NOW I'M STUCK WITH THEM FOR 6 MONTHS. I DON'T TRUST CARFAX.COM !!!!”

“My CARFAX story is not exciting. I didn't discover an undisclosed issue or anything that saved me from disaster. What I did do was, for about $50, get third party verification of the story the seller was telling me. Armed with the CARFAX report I was confident enough to travel from Wilson,NC to Savannah, GA and spend $17,250 with a total stranger. We could not be happier with our purchases -the car and the CARFAX report.”

“I recently purchased a 2002 Mercedes S430 for a real good deal, I was concerned that the good deal was due to something being wrong with the car (accidents). To my surprise when I pulled the car fax, I was pleased to see there were no accidents, BUT on top of that the car fax showd the car was serviced at a Mercedes dealership the whole time. There were a couple of Mom and Pop Mercedes repair shops that were used for minor repairs that showed up on the list as well. Very pleased with the level of service that was provided.”

“The information you furnished was more than the dealer had told me, all though I did not ask to see the Carfax, I paid to get a new one and found it was in more than one accident, and from little things I find it makes you wonder if everything that has happened to the vechicule has been turned to Car fax”

“I used it on two cars for each of my children within a two month span. Although it showed me a clean record that each of the one owner cars claimed, it provided me the assurance that I was purchasing quality cars for my son & daughter to drive. Worth every penny of the cost for the reassurance and history of the vehicles.”

“Carfax is amazing, it is really easy to use and usually gives you a good overview of how the car was maintained, how many owners, mileage, how many miles have been put on it every year. It helped me find my vehicle, It saved me from buying a lemon once which I'm grateful for because it would've been a lot of extra money that I wasn't willing to spend. I was going to buy a 2003 Ford Escape, and I ran a carfax before I was going to purchase it, and it blew my mind what I found out about it. It said that in 2008 it had 180k miles already, and the funny thing is I was going to buy it here in 2015 and the odometer said 127k miles. If you put the numbers together who knows how much miles it has, I later saw that car selling again because it broke down. THANK YOU CARFAX, you saved me money and time :)”

“Was checking out an 05 Silverado that had been a contractors truck. I was on the fence about it as it was not in perfect condition but appeared to be in good mechanical order. Used CarFax for the first time and was able to look over its entire service history. Decided from what i saw that it was a good deal and got the truck. So far no surprises! Was an excellent use of 40bucks and will definitely use again in future!”

“Thanks to CarFax we were able to save ourselves from possibly a lot of grief in the future. We bought a late model truck at an auction, it looked and ran really well and we were so proud of the "bargain". But when we returned home we did a CarFax check and found out the vehicle had 100,000 more miles on it than the odometer said. We contacted everyone involved with the sale of the vehicle and when we told them someone had ran the miles back according to the mileage documentation on the CarFax report and that it was a federal offense, they were very anxious to give us our money back without a problem. Had it not been for CarFax we most likely would not have caught the odometer change. Thank you CarFax and I will never be without you. Most importantly, we will check CarFax "before" we buy.”
