Contacted Ferman Ford Countryside in Clearwater Fl about a vehicle I saw here. Worse customer service in 50 years of purchasing vehicles! Pass over this dealership. What they advertise is not on the lot!

Carfax is "reporting" severe damage to a brand new vehicle before I ever purchased it with less than 5 miles on it. There is no source for the severe damage and the dealer has no record of it either. Again, I got this truck new and this damage was "reported" one month prior to me buying the brand new truck from the dealer. I already knew that you couldn't trust Carfax to include everything in a vehicle's history, but now I realize that their system just makes stuff up. This is costing me time and money as I get it straightened out and it's very frustrating. Carfax cannot be trusted when buying or selling.

Was accused of hit and Run- found out when Irvington NJ Police sent 3 tickets to me via the mail- I had to get a lawyer to fight the tickets- no one but the Police were pressing charges/tickets against me. I won and my tickets were dismissed- but it cost $ to prove my innocence- then I run a carfax report and my car shows a accident- i call them and they want a updated police report- Irvington police will not give or recreate a police report but sent me 3 letters of disposition which shows tickets dismissed- these are on the courts letterhead but Carfax wont accept them- they want something the Police will not give me because the police already gave me proof of innocence- who is Carfax to be above the law and cost innocent people money ? Not fair-now I have to get a lawyer again because Carfax is untouchable - But at least now I learned that Carfax reports are not worth as much as I thought they were in the past- I used them and probaly missed out on vehicles because I thought they were on point- I was wrong- dont trust carfax!!

I chose the "one-report' option for $39.99 and carfax charged me the $99.99 fee, and THEN, I never received the report. The website's "CONTACT US" option leads to nowhere. Using the dealer option will at least allow you to leave a voicemail to request an email. I plan to contest this transaction, then cancel my credit card. All I can say is, ... Word of mouth advertising.

Carfax deserves negative stars. Carfax updated my vehicle Carfax 7 months after I bought from the dealership. The update was structural damage. It was a clean title when I bought it. Now value has gone down drastically. Thanks for screwing me over Carfax. Trash company.

The CARFAX website defaults to the "6 Reports - $99" option. This is EXTREMELY atypically from a consumer standpoint, to have to de-select that option and select the lower quantity when you only want one report. Unfortunately, I didn't catch this until it was too late and I had already been billed for 6 reports. This is a deceptive and manipulative tactic - very disappointing!! Then to add to my frustration, there isn't a customer service phone number for a quick resolution. I consider this to be bad consumer marketing and NOT a way to build customer loyalty.

Do not trust any reports from Carfax. I had a new Jeep, original owner, carfax kept reporting it was involved in accidents. I contacted carfax over a year ago, submitted all the documents and insurance papers and they still haven't changed the report. Do not trust them at all.

I needed one carfax report but bought a 3 report package deal. When I needed to use another report sometime later the two remaining reports were not accessible. I contacted their customer service department (Case # 10623677: Ordering/Purchasing Reports) several times and they answered my first e-mail and said that they would respond to my inquiry but they never did. They did not disclose the 60 day expiration when I purchased the package. I found that information later in the fine print. As far as I'm concerned that is dishonest, they could disclose the expiration clause clearly up front to allow people to make an educated decision. This looks like misleading customers and making an extra buck with the fine print.

I bought 3 reports, used one, and when I went to use another it would not let me. Since you can't talk to them on the phone I contacted them through the website several times, and days later I still haven't received an answer.

Price and customer service. Very tacky on their refund policy, not sensitive to case by case scenario. I was involved with a hit and run and the information granted from the carfax of the other vehicle was no help. After emailing customer service that I don’t need the carfax because of the lack of information, explaining that I’m not looking to purchase the vehicle just wanted help investigating my case since the police refuse to investigate further, they decided to refuse my refund because I had different expectations that didn’t meet their guidelines. I understand I wasted $40. It was my bad. Also, there wasn’t accurate information in the carfax that warrants such a high price, and they state that they are not fully accurate in the small print. Will not recommend this site to anyone.

I really wish carfax would allow a Bog ZERO rating for white plains Honda. This dealer is the worst. They don't keep promises, they don't honor commitments. Never believe on their Internet price as there Final price even after their commitment on phone call. There sales representative Reyne/Ashley will give false promises on call. I went all the way from Long Island 90 miles and they backoff from there commitments. Don’t believe on their promises made on calls. Stay Away From Ivan Rados and David- Big Liars .!

Your numbers are wrong, check consumeraffairs for a true rating of what carfax is really worth. I was charged for a full 6 car check when I only wanted one. You absolutely can't reach them... I ended up contesting through the bank... It's a scam at the biggest scale...

My new 2020 Ford with 1200 miles needs an oil change & a tire rotation.....? You estimated my milage at 88miles & this is recommended? Looks like Carfax & Ford are partnering to waste more of people's money.
