“A shamm Company, my Wife and I arrived in Chania airport to pick up a car from another shamm Company Abbycar Hire, we spent the first 4 hours of our Holiday trying the pickup a car. We lost €420 we had paid Carjet and had to pay the same again to Centaro which actually are a 5* company to get to our destination.”
“Avoid this company at all costs. I booked a car with them on the 27th July to pick up at Faro airport, Portugal. When I got home and checked my credit card bill I noticed they charged me for the hire of two cars. They are almost impossible to contact. I was given a contact number and managed to get through once after holding for 40 minutes at a cost of £8. Their representative asked me to send evidence of the double payment, which I did to the email address I provided. I have emailed them several times since and I've had no response. I've also called them several times and I'm just put on hold. I've learned a very expensive lesson and I'll never use them again. They are complete fraudsters who should be closed down.”

“I booked a car, read the T&Cs, which were incorrect. The Alamo location (Birmingham airport) does not accept debit cards for rental, but the T&Cs says that it does (with further ID). I had further ID, but no credit card. Therefore, Alamo cancelled the booking and I had to pay to rent elsewhere.
I have called Carjet several times to get a refund, as Alamo has confirmed to me that they have not charged Carjet. It hard to get through on the Spanish number that is given for customer service. When I eventually did get through to someone 2 weeks ago, I was informed that they needed to get confirmation from Alamo. I asked how long that would take. They informed me 5 days. It is now over 2 weeks. I have called back again and was informed that they still have not heard back from Alamo (which I find unbelievable). They advised that they would email Alamo again. I asked to speak with a manager and was immediately informed that the manager is unavailable, and that they will get her to call me back. Lets see how that will pan out!
I have also tried to email them, but to no avail. They don't respond to emails either!
I would not use these scammers again. Nor would i recommend anyone else to either. If you have an issue, it is really hard to get the issue resolved. They take your money quick enough (within seconds), but when it comes to customer after care and refunds, THEY ARE AS SLOW AS A TORTOISE AND SUCK!”

I observed too late that CarJet has a beautiful website with a lot of FAQ information, but is not easy connectable by phone. Later I found a Spanish e-mail address and made my complaints. I Want minimal my deposit money back. Reactions such as investigating and contact with local organization, due to COVID etc. but I still not received my deposit money back. At first you think this is a mistake, such can happen… but My son-in-law had also rented a car from Heraklion from CarJet for a few days later, so I warned him. Immediately he was E-mailing with CarJet, was reassured, and ..... yet another no show for his family. And all the same: extra costs, then complain, excuses back in the mail, and no money back.
Professional scammers can create fake reviews in addition to a beautiful site. Don't fall for it people. Con men”
“I booked with CarJet a car to collect, paid and went to collect and then was asked to give £1500 deposit, I didn't have such a sum and couldn't collect the car. Now I can't get a refund because CarJet will only refund a cancellation for a booking 1 hour or more before the collection. It's a scam, when are deposits considered extortionate? Avoid them, hidden charges.”
“Dopo aver avvisato, tramite il link apposito di modifica, un cambio di orario del volo, nessuno ci ha inviato alcuna notifica, all'arrivo poi, la compagnia che ci doveva dare l'auto ci ha detto che nessuno li aveva avvisati del cambio, perciò la macchina non era più disponibile e i soldi se li sono tenuti.
Ho contattata i numeri del servizio clienti dedicato ed uno risulta errato mentre l'altro è spagnolo e non risponde mai nessuno.

“I rent a car in rhodos. I waited 30 min at the airport for the shuttle bus. No one on the phone that I could speak to. After arriving at the car rent I had to wait 30 more minutes because the car was not ready. The worst service ever”
“If I could give them 0 stars that’s what I would give them. The do not understand the meaning of customer service and have no interest in supporting you once they have taken their cut.
My wife booked the 3 days with a local car company in malta through carjet and on arrival at the local company we were informed that we would not be able to have a different named driver on the car. My wife then had multiple calls with carjet support where they would not allow us to change the driver or to cancel the booking. It has resulted in us having had to pay the full amount for our booking and not be able to get a car.”

When we returned the car last night, the guy at the reception pretended we had made 2 tiny little invisible scratches at the front defender, which was not our fault anyway, because we've been VERY careful. He charged us 200 euro on top of the hire price, plus 30 euro extra for collecting the car after 22:00 pm when we arrived 2 weeks before. Scam. Beware he's in charge of spilling as much money he can from turists. Avoid Carjet in Heraklion!!!”

I hired a car for a holiday. our way to pick up was delayed. there was no contact details for the hire centre. they had none for me. When i arrived they cancelled my booking as they couldn't contact me to confirm. The money i had paid never made it to the hire firm. and i was left to pay again.
CarJet have no way to raise a service complaint. they are a website for a different spanish company. no way of contact and no route to get the vast amount of money back, do not use.. every rating below should tell you that.”

Wasn't able to get my booked car as they didn't accept a Northern Irish license at the desk. Carjet simply said because I didn't cancel 24 hrs before they couldn't issue a refund - for the booking I had to cancel. Absolute thieves. Ended up having to pay for two cars.”
