After making a very good deal in store on the Thur 2nd March, was due to collect the new car on Monday 6th March evening. Was slotted in for 7pm but showed up to show room at 6.30pm and was left waiting with no interaction for 40mins. Only after I asked how long it would be and that I had to collect my young child at 8.30pm did I get seen by someone. Once over at the desk for the hand over and finance paperwork to be signed, I again was left for a further 40mins waiting while a problem was trying to be resolved. Again no one came near me waiting and I had to go searching and find someone to clarify the situation. Only after this long wait and I had to actively search for answers, was I told that I wouldn't be able to get my car that evening as the finance company had closed transactions and I would have to leave it until the next day. If I hadnt been kept waiting for so long then this may not have occured, also if paperwork had been sorted prior to collection evening (4 days availability for this to have happened) then I could have got my car on the evening I was meant to. Due to not being able to collect my car on that evening. I had to re-insure my old car for 1 more day, at a cost and was left really undervalued and disappointed when it should be an exciting time. After I asked to speak with the company director who was present that evening (Scott) did he manage to greatly calm the situation and offered excellent customer care and attention to deal with the evenings event. I was very grateful for his help, but feel if I hadn't asked specifically to speak with him, would he have been made aware of the situation as it was closing time, and that I would have walked away from the deal altogether and no one would have stopped me or pushed to keep my custom.

No pressure from sales staff. Great facility. Staff were upbeat and did not look mega stressed.Happy with car and deal done.

The experiance was brilliant, I hate buying a new car as it is usually a car salesman harassing you into buying something that you don't really want to buy, but you end up buying it so you get out of the showroom. Peter Vardy was a different experiance some thing that I and my wife, son and Grandaughter really enjoyed from the the moment I walked in the door ,we where met by I really nice human being who shook your hand not just mine my wife's, son and even my Grandaughter who is only two years old totally something I was not used to when you visit Arnold Clark. The set up when you get in the showroom is absolutely fantastic , ice cream van, coffee and and every salesman you meet greet you with a hello with a big smile on there faces and they really make you feel as if they mean it . The salesman young Ryan well he was brilliant made you feel welcome and explained the showroom to us where each type of car was situated in the showroom, he was excellent in the whole experiance even to the point that after I agreed the sale and picked up my new car he contacted me a couple of days after to make sure I was happy with the car I bought, he made sure that if I had any concerns that I knew the telephone number to contact the car store. The whole experiance was absolutely brilliant 150% better than the Arnold Clark experiance I had a day earlier, will I recommend Peter Vardy absolutely, The only concern I have is that there was a couple of things that needed to be fixed on the car, that had not been fixed before I picked the car up on Saturday so I await to to see that your after care service is a good as the initial service of buying the car , the hand brake needs to be pulled up fully other wise the car still moves even on flat ground, so I would like that to be looked. But overall it was an experiance that I was really happy with and would recommend Peter Vardy to my family and friends Your staff are a credit to Peter Vardy. Thanks again for the experiance

The sales advisor Barry was really good. He understood our needs and was very open and honest with pricing etc. He was friendly and really knew his stuff. We were up for buying as soon as we met him to be fair, but feel that having 2 different people coming over and taking over the conversation was quite off putting. I get the company has a process /sales structure but he definitely didn't need assistance to secure our sale! Barry's called me twice since I've had the car to check everything is okay and to assure me if I needed anything else to let him know. He definitely deserves praise. What I will say is the handover from Barry, to the check out girl to the manager who was arranging our pick up wasn't very smooth and made me feel quite nervous something would go wrong. When asking questions I was told I would need to ask Barry, or that they weren't sure and had to jump back and forward. Emma is the person we picked the car up from, she was really helpful and answered all my questions confidently. She made sure I was happy with everything before I left. We were given a car without mats (I thought these would come with every car) and told if we wanted the Peter Vardy ones it would be £40 or we could buy our own fitted ones from Kia directly. I think after spending so much money, it would be best practice to chuck those in free!

Up until I signed for the car my service was fine. I returned a call from the after sales team for pick up arrangements and left a message for a call back which never happened. I have now been waiting for almost 3 weeks for an answer on a query I had.

The staff within the store were very welcoming however were more focused on telling my dad and boyfriend things about the car rather than myself

Staff at Hillington are extremely helpful. We found the car we wanted, pointed out one or two minor issues with the bodywork and by the time we collected our new car, everything was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a new car, make sure you go to Peter Vardy at Hillington. I recommend without hesitation.

Staff really helpful and a relaxed fun atmosphere took away stress that comes with buying a new car. I would recommend everybody to visit the CarStore if looking for a new car
