I had a great experience with James Clive who was my salesman. He made me feel very comfortable and took his time to go through everything with me (even drawing diagrams to better explain when I didn’t understand). He also brought a car over from Dundee as I was very keen on a car that wasn’t actually at the Glasgow store. I ended up loving it when I seen the car in person and drove it away that night - so thank you James! Darren his manager was also a huge help in the purchase of my new motor. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Very enjoyable experience overall. Staff were all very welcoming. Andrew Brodie, who I spoke to about my car, understood exactly what I was looking for and gave me a great array of choices. In the end I came away an amazing SEAT Leon FR.

I was so happy with the service from the minute I walked through the door to the minute I left. The sales representative Anthony was second to none , his knowledge of the car’s for sale really catered to my needs. His ability to answer any questions I had really reassured me I was getting the best deal possible. I would have no problem recommending any of my family and friends go speak to Anthony about buying a new car.

I turned up for a test drive and was expected to pay for the car there and then without seeing it. The sales person knew nothing about the car and I was made feel uncomfortable for asking questions. Staff were rude and pushy about getting the paperwork signed before any issues were sorted. Very poor customer service all in.

I accompanied my dad who’s 75 as I recommended Peter vardy as I purchased my VW Tiguan a few years ago . I thought I was dealt with brilliantly , but in my dads case the standards have dropped considerably , we were told Tuesday 29/6 at 11am to collect the car , then we got a phone call to say can we move it to Wednesday at 14:00 which we agreed , then we received a further phone call to say it wouldn’t be ready at 14:00 could we make it at 18:30 which we agreed to . We turned up at 18:15 so we could get the paperwork dealt with but nobody approached us , I went to the front desk at 18:50 to ask what was happening , I was politely dealt with and was told I would be next in line for the hand over team . At the same time numerous assistants were gathered chatting and nobody was being dealt with . We eventually got out of the yard at 20:30 with the car & only 1 key which my dad will receive in 4-6 weeks and into the bargain the scratches that were on my dads car which were supposed to be sorted weren’t done . I honestly can’t believe how disjointed the working operation in Peter Carey has become .

I was told to pick up the car at 530pm 2 hours later no car, so I left. No phone call from team so I rang up and got another appointment still took another 90 minutes to get the car. Bad customer care.

Dreadful handover experience .... never again. Booked in for 11am, I advised that I had a meeting at 1pm so needed prompt attention. After several times of asking I finally got in front of someone around 11.30. Then I'm told the car has only one key ! I inspect the car and the refurbished wheels are a mess and covered in overspray. Ended up having to leave at 12 noon with NO paperwork, 1 key and a not so nicely prepared car for £33,000 ! Worst car purchase experience I've ever had. What's the point of being given a handover time and then being told that the paperwork was still to be done ? Whoever made a mess of the wheels deserves to be sacked because fitting them back onto such an expensive car in that state is not acceptable and reflects the standard of their work. Your mission statement that the customer's happiness is more important than selling a car certainly did not apply with this transaction. Needless to say I'm not impressed.

James my sales advisor was amazing, very attentive, answered all my questions, came over to see me while I was waiting on my car too and brought me a drink. The after sales experience is the worst that I have ever experience, I was booked in at 5pm and left at 9.20pm, Sacha was very unprofessional and kept walking away saying she'll " be back in 5 minutes" at 8pm James came back over to check on me and was concerned about the time I was waiting and went to check on things, he came back out and said that Sacha has told him I hadn't paid my deposit thats why It took so long, I showed him my receipt that 6.12pm I paid £900, he went back to Sacha to see what was happening then gave me an update on my car. After James finished I was left again and told 5 minutes, at 9pm I was brought out to my car to see my windscreen is cracked, my alloys aren't done, theres warning lights on and my sunroof doesn't open. I am very disappointed with the service and definitely wouldn't recommend.

Really really happy with the service provided by Dylan Dooley and Darren. After such a horrendous experience with Arnold Clark - we cancelled our order with them and went straight to Peter Vardy. We were sorted out and all finance and everything sorted all within 2 hours! Fantastic work guys, this is our second car bought with Peter Vardy and I can officially say we will not go anywhere else!!
