“Way too long to get product. I had to send them a question as to where it is, 2 weeks after ordering. Now I see label created but still no tracking. Once you purchase no way to cancel order, would NOT use again!”

“Dreadful business --DO NOT USE THEM Dreadful business -- if you see this DO NOT ORDER I used a promo code for free shipping on two bottles -- it was expensive enough to start with -- and only this made it palatable ! The code was refused and they charged shipping -- giving me NO final chance to accept the order WITH the expensive shipping ($45). I E-mailed within minutes to say to cancel the order if the promo code was bad and they were going to charge shipping. Next day got a snippy message saying basically "you are f..ked" -- no cancellations for any reasons ... 35% restocking fee. They claim it is ordered from UK -- almost certainly they could call and cancel the order -- but they have no intention of doing so .... in fact I do not believe it is even ordered yet! I am refusing delivery if it comes, already disputed charge on AMEX with supporting E-mails. I will almost guarantee that if delivery is attempted we will be able to prove it was not shipped until WELL after they could have cancelled it. Will update results later if I can - buyers beware! UPDATE #1 - 4 days later After several E-mails and even a phone call - they offered to refund the shipping as a gift card. I told them no - refund to my AMEX. I started an AMEX dispute and sent AMEX everything. Day later the shipping was refunded to my AMEX. Give them credit - sort of - that they did not want the hassle of a merchant dispute. Now we will see how long it take to get the product and if I get it at all -- there is ZERO communication as to it being shipped or anything. With these guys it is pay and pray !! There are so many other reputable options out there that keep you informed all the way -- still a zero to 1 star review and a recommendation to avoid. UPDATE #2 - 9 days after original order First ignore their reply below -- they are canned replies to look as if they care ! This is a re-ship operation -- they take your money -- then order it somewhere else as a drop ship and pocket the difference. They wrap their purchase agreement in nasty rules in an attempt to fool you into accepting their terms -- RULE #1 - dispute IMMEDIATELY with your Credit card provider. They did credit my shipping -- but when I went to ask about shipping info and tracking - they said they had cancelled the order due to my dispute threat (which they blatantly lied when they said it had shipped on day #2) - and that they had already credited my money back to AMEX .... now I am fighting them to get them to credit the balance without me re-activating the AMEX dispute. AGAIN - avoid these online snakes at all costs ! ===================================== Due-diligence about this company/scam website: #1 information: BBB has over 100 complaints: Search the BBB website (entire country) for "Cask Cartel" The address on the BBB is 1734 Kennedy Pt STE 1110 Oviedo, FL 32765-8003 I talked to the property owner and Suite 1110 is rented by a trusted and reputable engineering company out of PA - they have never heard of Cask Cartel ! # 2 information: The address given on this site is 109 E 17th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001 This address is a company that specializes in creating and hiding LLC's. They provide a "virtual office" for you to park your LLC behind to prevent anybody finding out who you are doing business with. Google the address and "Executive Suites" #3 information: The so called "Featured in ROLLING STONE, MEN’S JOURNAL, US WEEKLY, OK, COSMOPOLITAN, GQ, and In-flight Airline Magazines for AMERICAN and UNITED! " with example screenshots are all FAKE -- I called each magazine. #4 information: Cask Cartel spend a lot of time defending and refuting bad reviews -- they spend time keeping their website clean and out of the "scam websites" list by having valid secure certificates etc. ================================= Cask Cartel is a high end scam operation, with a professional sounding customer service operation designed to refute and delay. DO NOT GIVE ANY $ -- you will have to spend time and $$ getting it back ! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. If you are reading this AFTER spending $$ -- immediately start a charge dispute with your credit card company. It is really time the CC companies screen out these operations and stop them using their services! Date of experience: September 03, 2022”

“I placed an order from your company in August and now it is 9/14/2022 and there has been NO DELIVERY of this order and NO update. I politely request IMMEDIATE delivery or a refund… Naturally I would prefer delivery of this order. I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter”

“If I had the choice for a negative 4 that would be my rating. Company is dishonest, deceptive, and borders on illegal. Purchase at your own risk. Never expect to get what you ordered and never expect to get a refund or your money back.”

“I ordered what was supposed to be an old bottling of Laphroaig 10 cask strength, cask cartel had it advertised with the old Red stripe at 57.3% abv. The cost was $330 so naturally I thought I was getting the older bottling but instead I got a new bottling. Batch 14 to be specific. New versions of Laphroaig 10 CS go for around $100. Do not order from Cask Cartel. They have very dishonest advertising.”

“Bait and switch...my wife purchased my anniversary gift from Cask Cartel, advertised vintage bottle of rum from our honeymoon. She paid over $100 for the bottle. When it arrived, it was a modern $10 bottle. She called customer service, they refused to refund or accept the return. They told me wife it was her fault. Horrible customer service. Do not purchase from this website.”

“Don’t recommend this website at all. The company led me on for four weeks before they said they could not fulfill my order. Then they offered a $40 credit and ability to receive another similarly priced item. Yet they would combine the items. Very pour customer service.”

“I made the purchase approximately two weeks ago. Not one tiny semblance of communication as to where my order was or when it was being shipped. This being my first order raised a considerable degree of concern. I therefore canceled my order and I also contacted my credit card company to make sure that the charge was reversed. This is not the way to start a business relationship. I spent $300 on a bottle of scotch and had plans to make many more purchases. As of this point you have lost a customer but not only that I will make it my business to inform everybody of your unethical business practices. “Prices are double or more off retail - company hides behind their refund policy which isn’t visible during the check out process - I would not recommend shopping here to anyone unless you are okay paying double or more for something you can find elsewhere online. I was not provided any refund despite product not actually sent at the time of my request.”
