“You claimed that there was outstanding finance on the vehicle, this turned out to be incorrect. I carried out 2 further checks with other companies to confirm there was indeed no finance outstanding and confirmed this with the seller. Your incorrect search resulted in a lot of wasted time and effort.”

“Once i worked out how the website worked (it is not clear) I then find out that i have to pay to get the information. But what makes it worse is that you pay and you only get 1 search. Terrible.”

“There was not mileage or service information provided for the vehicle so I called to request it, the lady took my name and said she would get back to me and I'm still waiting... 2 weeks later...”

“The HP agreement has expired and been settled yet the search threw up a failed result. This has meant waiting until the finance company are back in the office on Monday to confirm there is no HP outstanding and a second, unnecessary 1.5 hr long journey to pick the vehicle up.”

“Rather disappointing: The required data was provided on screen but never sent to my e-mail address (I checked to ensure it hadn't gone into my spam box). The only way to retain the info was to print from the web site screen, which resulted in the loss of all the graphical enhancements (i.e. no colour coding, tick boxes etc.).”

“It was ok but when I've done hpi with other companies they ask you to fill in the vin number and the V5 reference number to confirm they are the correct one that matches the records. Also this hpi doesn't do the confirm the mileage either”

“You didn't pick up on the mileage on the mots 2015 mot mileage 34,625. 2016 mileage34,636 11 miles in 12. Months? Also on 5 November 2015 it was for sold for £3,250 with 13,000 miles and you passed it as OK”

“Very disappointed to be honest. The report said the car I was intending to buy had outstanding finance on it. I nearly walked away from the deal but decided to ring the finance company. To my surprise they told me it had been cleared by the previous owner (not the existing one). I therefore paid for inaccurate and out of date information which not only cost me £9.99 but almost prevented me from buying a vehicle that suited me.”
