“I booked a flight at a rate of $86. My credit card didn’t go through for some reason but I received an email that started my rate was guaranteed for 24 hrs. I updated my credit card and sure enough about 20 min later I got a call saying that the prices have gone up so they cannot charge my card. This was within 4 hrs of receiving the email stating a guarantee. I rebooked another flight and once again the payment verification process was faulty. I had to call and be on the phone where I had already spend numerous hours online looking for flights and chose cheap flight fares and here they are disorganized and lying about rates. 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND”

“Your website UI and UX are terrible, and it takes FAR TOO MANY STEPS to buy a ticket through your site. Overall, needlessly complicated and time-consuming. It should be much better.”

“Worst experience EVER. All kinds of confusing alternate dates and 'nearby airports' popping up. Once I got booked, the message popped up that I had saved money by choosing a nearby airport-- which was scary, as I had no idea I had done this. I called customer service, who tried to convince me that I airport I was looking at on my screen was NOT the one I was going to--unless I paid an extra $33 per person. She was not able to explain why and finally gave up, saying all was well. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE time. Never again.”

“. I purchased refund and cancellation insurance. $45 extra. I tried to cancel more than 24 hours in advance (as stated on the website and in an email and the company is trying to get me a refund from the airline. So,after long wait still no refund. Could possible be the worst company to deal with ever. NO REFUND OR CREDIT FOR FUTURE FLIGHT WHAT IS THE POINT OF PAYING FOR CANCELLATION INSURANCE WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK.”

“I booked and paid for $75 one way flight earlier in the day 9/11/23. Later that evening someone named “EDGE” called 714-782-7106 from Anaheim in Orange County CA. He called to inform me they overbooked and the airfare had gone up and I needed to pay an additional $30. I refused and told him no, and he put me on hold for 3-4 minutes and said they would issue a $30 credit to offset the increase. I said great and we hung up. Later that evening I noticed a $74 charge I did not recognize. I called the next morning to my credit card and they confirmed it was from Cheap Flights. I told them it was not authorized and that I had problems with that company the night before. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid the charge and now go through the hassle of getting a replacement while traveling. Cheap Flights are scam artists and up to no good. I will not use them again. Found them through Kayak search engine- beware!”

“No disclosure of possible increase in fare price after purchase made. Received email asking to call back to complete purchase just to be advised additional money needed due to sold out seats on a non national carrier?! So much non disclosure and no transparency before purchase. Could not refund either due to carrier so stuck with paying more or losing money!!”

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Extortion artists. I wanted to refund my booking, which was within the 24 hour window, and was told I couldn’t. After 10 minutes of explanations I was placed on hold, which was then disconnected. I called back to tell them I’d keep the booking and was told a refund was initiated which was shocking since three minutes before I was told it couldn’t happen. I decided to keep the booking and stop the refund process since our son was on that flight and was told that they couldn’t stop the refund, but for an additional $183.90 I could get back on the flight. So essentially they stopped the refund process and charged an additional $183.90 for me to get the same booking back. I DO NOT recommend this third party company.”

“Worst airline They make you pay 60$ for the small bag as well which will go to the up head cabin. It was not like this before and I didn’t even see other flights doing that. Will not recommend this airline to anyone.💯”

“First - ridiculous that there is is $52 charge for Carry-on luggage! Secondly - I was unable to cancel and get a refund on a flight even though I called the next day to cancel, (as per the written policy that was included in my ticketing document the flight was refundable within 24 hours of booking). I needed to change the date and they offered to do so, but there was no flight on the date I needed to fly so that wouldn't work for me (the next flight was two days after that, which wasn't going to work either). So, I'm stuck with a flight that doesn't meet my needs and I was unable to get a refund on it. Will NEVER book on CheapFlights again. Third - I found this SunCountry flight through Kayak, but when I went to book it was automatically re-directed to CheapFlights. I should have known not to book it through them, and will not make that mistake again.”

“I had to go home for a family emergency and had to purchase tickets for the next day. The rates were super high, almost $900 but I didn’t had a choice. Then they call me to tell me that booking was not accepted by the Airline and had to do another booking for $1456 for the same flight ???? I was not able to make the return flight and tried to change it for a week later and they wanted me to pay $500 more so a round trip to Puerto Rico from DC would’ve been $2000 for Coach!??? I try to get my money back from the return tickets to DC from San Juan but they told me it was not refundable. I called American Airlines and they told me they sold my seats and return the money to the agency. I called them again and they still wouldn’t reimburse my money even after they got it back from American Airlines. DO NOT use this agency!!!”
