“It seems like such a sketchy site, and it didn’t help at all that my first form of payment supposedly declined and they asked for another, I put that one in and was accepted but the first form of payment was charged anyway”

“Generally a good site to check out. Unfortunately this last time my fare was in a constant circle pending my payment for over 35 minutes. It then stated a higher fare.”

“many unknowns as to what i was signing up for, although i knew i wanted refundable fares. when i discovered so many of the add ons and luggage impediments to my travel i wanted to cancel right then and there and get my refund. i was met by a lot barriers to just simply refunding my fare; a significant amount was NOT going to come back to me, as it was explained to me as "an insurance policy." i quite begrudgingly accepted those terms, but made very clear mention that i would be contacting my american express co to complain. after i hung up, the agent called me back to advise that a full refund would be forthcoming. i rebooked successfully with the airline directly and got exactly what i wanted to purchase.”

“I booked my trip on April 3,2024, and two days later I'm being told I have to pay 18.00 more after I already payed for the trip. That's not good business at all. I'm very disapointed.”

“It's to no one's fault, I hope, but the process is flawed. I booked and paid for flight tickets with confirmation in an email. Unfortunately the deal was no longer valid afterwards.”

“The site was hard to work with not very user friendly for old people and there were some surprise fees and I had to change the flight as I didn't see the pm which cost me extra as well. I don't think I will use you guys again. When I called the number I could not hear the person on the other end of the line and she did not speak clearly. Really a hard time.”

“Seemed likie a cheap enough fare, and then the other shoe dropped. If you go for the discounted fare, suddenly you discover you can't carry a bag or two, even if you offer to pay for them. Unless you buy the higher fare that allows a bag, you are out of luck. Unbelievable, and sad too that up the upfront info is denied until you finally realize maybe you don't want to fly w/ a crooked team.”

“I reported this information to CheapFlightsFares through a review "The information provided when I bought my flight was incorrect. It said I could concel my reservation within a time period for a cost of something like $15. But when I tried to do that, the agent on the phone told me the cancellation fee was $100 because it's an international flight. Bait and switch. Another example: I upgraded the class of my flight so I'd get a free checked bag and the ability to select my seat. Now I found out I can only select my seat within 7 days of the flight. Another bait and switch." I didn't even mention that the agent I talked to was curt and dismissive. THEN I GOT A CALL FROM AN EXECUTIVE AT THE COMPANY. She was concerned enough about my experience to be sure I got a bag checked for my whole itineray. She explained about the seat selection process and what I would be charged to select a seat before I got to the airport, so I agreed to forgo that advantage. Throughout our conversation she was attentive, concerned, and proactive. That sure changed my opinion of this company.”

“So yesterday I booked a trip that was supposed to be $329 a person from Boston to Orlando on Alaskan Airlines after I finally figured out how to do this on your page 10 minutes later I get a phone call saying that alaskan airlines is not on this rate, it gets changed to a Delta flight. I specifically told the person on the phone I needed the same type of flight with a carry-on baggage and a personal item and I really wanted to get the seats assigned because I am a handicapped person and I also need wheelchair at the airport. Last night I checked my email and my flight has changed to the Delta flight, but not a full-size carry-on, or seat assignment, which is what he specifically said he would take care of because of the issues with the first flight and this is my first time using you. So now it’s costing me $150 more, with no seat assignment and a half size carry-on what the heck is that? I’m really not happy about this whole situation. I was willing to pay the price for the first flight. I thought it was a pretty good deal but then it turned out to not be a good deal at all and don’t know if I will do this next time.
