“I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, bought dresses that unfortunately were not suitable, all returned - which took a month for them to acknowledge & then a 28 day wait for a refund, which has not been done & I am still waiting. Fortunately bought via PayPal who are investigating & hopefully I will get my money refunded.

“If I could give 0 I would. I have never left a bad review for a company so I hope this conveys just how bad my experience with chi chi has been. I returned the items over 6 weeks ago and I am yet to receive a refund. Every step of the way the customer service has been poor - I have outlined just some of the issues below.
1. I was incorrectly told that I was out of date for my return
2.Numerous phone calls to customer service were unanswered and were disconnected once I became 'first in line', having waited nearly an hour on hold climbing up the queue
3. The refund has not been processed within the time limit, according to UK law

“Do not order from this company!!! I paid for next day delivery only to receive the dresses two weeks later. Customer service is none existent. They do not answer phones or reply to emails. I have now been waiting six weeks to get my refund and again, nobody answers the phones. How can I be caller number 1 for over an hour???? Clearly there is nobody actually taking the calls.
Quality of the dresses is very poor and cheaply made. Not worth all this hassle.”
“I returned a dress on the 6th January and received an email from them saying it had been processed on the 16 January. I waited the 28 days that they stipulate but no mail to say a refund had been issued so I emailed them to complain but I have to date had no reply; it is now 35 days. I have ordered from Chi Chi in the past with no problem getting a refund if an item was returned. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering on this occasion. If I don’t hear anything in the next day or so I will complain to Trading Standards. Do not order from this company something is very wrong. MF”

“I had a similar experience to everyone else, bought two dresses and returned one. They arrived on the 3rd Jan and still hadn't received a refund by the 31st despite chasing. I had to resort to raising a dispute with PayPal. Sadly this seems the only way to get your money back. I will never use this company again, absolutely awful!!!!”
“I returned a dress on December 28 Luckily I kept the proof of posting. They emailed to say they had received it and I would get a refund. Still waiting and we’re well into Feb! So awful! How much money must they be stealing from customers who don’t check their returns? Don’t order from them.”
“If I could rate Chichi -5 stars I would and that would still be a compliment to how poor they are. Do not shop at this fraudulent company at all, you’ve been warned and if this manages to help one person avoid shopping with them then great. With the way they operate they will soon have no customers and go out of business. So a number of dresses were bought c£700 in November for a wedding, none were suitable or looked anything like the website so they were returned within days and confirmed returned by the courier, after multiple efforts to contact them via phone to check they had received them back where no-one answers the phone and you get cut off after an hour or 2 on hold, Chichi 19 days after receiving the return acknowledged it was at their warehouse (they can’t even manage their stock through a warehouse). That was before Christmas. Since then it has taken them weeks to confirm a refund is being processed only to say it’s c.£200 refund, missing £500 of the refund. Again, after multiple efforts by phone and e-mail being on hold and cut off, being ignored they finally responded after 10 days to say have I got proof the parcel was returned (Both the courier and Chichi have confirmed it got to their warehouse), I am yet to find a resolution and the potential for legal action is likely. Chichi stink of a company trying to make sales figures look good, delaying returns and refunds to artificially inflate profit performance at the cost of their customers. In all likelihood it will backfire significantly and this company will go into administration where no-one will be able to get a refund on anything. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM PLEASE!!!”
“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are rogues and liars. I have been waiting for a refund since the end of October. They sometimes reply to emails, never pick up the phone and just send the same generic responses promising that my refund has been escalated to their refund team. The shareholders should be ashamed of yourselves as you’re offering a service you don’t provide. The dresses are also poor quality. Stay well away from them unless you don’t mind a lot of hassle . My claim is now being dealt with by Mastercard.”

“Total thief’s, I bought a dress on the 7th of December returned it on the 9th they received it on the 13th and I’m still waiting for my refund that apparently takes 28 days!!! It didn’t take them 28 days to take my money from me!!!! I’m getting married on the 28th of February and I ordered a wedding dress from them but ordered one size bigger as apparently that’s what you need to do when purchasing wedding dresses but it was too big so sent it back straight away so I could reorder a smaller size but I can tell you now that won’t be happening because there customer service is horrendous!! Avoid at all costs!!! I use asos because they’re so good and their customer service is amazing.”

“Thieves and liars! Please do not buy from these scammers. I placed my order in January 2022 for dresses worth £700, the quality of dresses was very poor, I returned straight away, they acknowledged the receipt, but refuse to process a refund. They are crooks! I am taking them to court, but even there they lie that no such customer purchased from them and hence no refund is due. I have order confirmation, return acknowledgment, correspondence via their site and emails, they are plain liars!”
