I returned a dress on the 6th January and received an email from them saying it had been processed on the 16 January. I waited the 28 days that they stipulate but no mail to say a refund had been issued so I emailed them to complain but I have to date had no reply; it is now 35 days. I have ordered from Chi Chi in the past with no problem getting a refund if an item was returned. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering on this occasion. If I don’t hear anything in the next day or so I will complain to Trading Standards. Do not order from this company something is very wrong. MF

I returned items almost a month ago and have not received a refund, you contact number just cuts people off and have also been busy for three weeks with the same message. I am still unable to contact the company and have not received a refund.

I had a similar experience to everyone else, bought two dresses and returned one. They arrived on the 3rd Jan and still hadn't received a refund by the 31st despite chasing. I had to resort to raising a dispute with PayPal. Sadly this seems the only way to get your money back. I will never use this company again, absolutely awful!!!!

I returned a dress on December 28 Luckily I kept the proof of posting. They emailed to say they had received it and I would get a refund. Still waiting and we’re well into Feb! So awful! How much money must they be stealing from customers who don’t check their returns? Don’t order from them.

If I could rate Chichi -5 stars I would and that would still be a compliment to how poor they are. Do not shop at this fraudulent company at all, you’ve been warned and if this manages to help one person avoid shopping with them then great. With the way they operate they will soon have no customers and go out of business. So a number of dresses were bought c£700 in November for a wedding, none were suitable or looked anything like the website so they were returned within days and confirmed returned by the courier, after multiple efforts to contact them via phone to check they had received them back where no-one answers the phone and you get cut off after an hour or 2 on hold, Chichi 19 days after receiving the return acknowledged it was at their warehouse (they can’t even manage their stock through a warehouse). That was before Christmas. Since then it has taken them weeks to confirm a refund is being processed only to say it’s c.£200 refund, missing £500 of the refund. Again, after multiple efforts by phone and e-mail being on hold and cut off, being ignored they finally responded after 10 days to say have I got proof the parcel was returned (Both the courier and Chichi have confirmed it got to their warehouse), I am yet to find a resolution and the potential for legal action is likely. Chichi stink of a company trying to make sales figures look good, delaying returns and refunds to artificially inflate profit performance at the cost of their customers. In all likelihood it will backfire significantly and this company will go into administration where no-one will be able to get a refund on anything. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM PLEASE!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are rogues and liars. I have been waiting for a refund since the end of October. They sometimes reply to emails, never pick up the phone and just send the same generic responses promising that my refund has been escalated to their refund team. The shareholders should be ashamed of yourselves as you’re offering a service you don’t provide. The dresses are also poor quality. Stay well away from them unless you don’t mind a lot of hassle . My claim is now being dealt with by Mastercard.

Item was faulty. Customer service ignored all my emails and messages. Waited in excess of 3 hours to speak to someone for the line to cut off! Ridiculous. Customer service is not existent.

Total thief’s, I bought a dress on the 7th of December returned it on the 9th they received it on the 13th and I’m still waiting for my refund that apparently takes 28 days!!! It didn’t take them 28 days to take my money from me!!!! I’m getting married on the 28th of February and I ordered a wedding dress from them but ordered one size bigger as apparently that’s what you need to do when purchasing wedding dresses but it was too big so sent it back straight away so I could reorder a smaller size but I can tell you now that won’t be happening because there customer service is horrendous!! Avoid at all costs!!! I use asos because they’re so good and their customer service is amazing.

Total scammers. Returned dresses beginning of December. Still waiting for my refund. Generic emails received, not helpful at all. Waiting time for a phonecall is over one hour. Do yourself a favour, shop elsewhere 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Thieves and liars! Please do not buy from these scammers. I placed my order in January 2022 for dresses worth £700, the quality of dresses was very poor, I returned straight away, they acknowledged the receipt, but refuse to process a refund. They are crooks! I am taking them to court, but even there they lie that no such customer purchased from them and hence no refund is due. I have order confirmation, return acknowledgment, correspondence via their site and emails, they are plain liars!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! *** I returned my order on the 12th of November and after a few weeks they finally confirmed that they have received my return on the 25th of November and that they would refund me within 28 days. Fast forward 28 days and i was told i would get my refund by the end of the week. Message them on friday and they say i would get my refund bu the end of the day! Did i?? Nope.... now its bank holidays and they are of course close. They phone lines are also always closed! Refund me my £250!! I have reported you to Trading Standards!

I will never use this company again, if I could give ni stars I would. Customer services are diabolical!! Have been awaiting a refund on two dresses since the beginning of November, been fobbed off with 6 emails stating the matter is with the refund team and now the refunds manager but still no refund. I am currently first in line on the customer service call line, 22 minutes holding and still no reply. Disgusted is a mild word I could use.

I unfortunately thought I was dealing with a reputable company, my mistake. I ordered two dresses size 16, one was a true size 16, the other was a size 6, so I sent the size 6 back with an email explaining that I need a refund and to not charge me return postage as it’s their fault(along with photos of the tag in the dress showing it’s a size 6 not a size 16. I acknowledged that they received my return. But I keep getting the run around, saying it’s with the accounts department, really it’s taking so long, never again will I buy from this company such so unprofessional, I considering taking my complaint to body in London something needs to be done about them

I ordered some dresses for my daughter to try for a wedding and sent back the ones that didn’t suit, which we got refunded for. While at the wedding my daughter notice the stitching on the dress had come away so we got in touch with chi chi who asked for photos, which we sent and they offered us 20% back which we refused. Eventually after numerous emails back and forth we were told they didn’t receive the dress to which we then sent proof of posting and proof that they had received the dress, they eventually agreed on a full refund which we are still waiting for. My husband emailed them again last night and they said we had been refunded but that was for the dresses that we initially returned and not the faulty one. This is so unprofessional this has been going on since the 27th of August and it’s now the 23rd of November. We were told on the 31st October it have been sent to the refund department 🤷🏼‍♀️. I have bought from here numerous times but you’ve lost a customer. Please refund us what we’re due.

Terrible customer service , I’ve ordered some clothes since 2 months and they were suppose to send it to me in Côte d’Ivoire , Africa. My order never arrived and I’ve tried to call them and send some emails . After a long time before answering to my email, they asked me to talk directly to the carrier ( FEDEX) to know where my order is. They didn’t assist me ! I have no idea how to talk to FedEx also. So my money is lost because I don’t know what to do. This website is not a good website.

Sent item back 28sep, they said not received til 11oct. Promised refund on multiple occasions when they could be bothered to reply. Apparently my refund bounced back to them 🤷‍♀️ ( mmmm never heard of that excuse before) . Had to get PayPal involved & hey finally got a refund today 19 nov. Will NEVER order from them again or ever recommend to anyone . Avoid this awful company

Absolutely terrible customer service. I returned a number of bridesmaid dresses after ordering various sizes, so was due quite a large refund. I spoke to customer services after the 14 day returns period was up, and was told I would be refunded, yet several days passed and no refund issued! I was then cut off on the phone after waiting in the queue for 2 hours (twice!) I contacted Chi chi through social media, and was again told my refund would be in the next batch, but it never arrived. Eventually they stopped responding via social media and email. Absolutely disgraceful service! I later escalated the case through PayPal. Chi chi never responded to them either, so the case was found in my favour and I was given my refund - but this took weeks! I strongly advise against ordering through Chi chi, it is just not worth the hassle!
