“I’ve been waiting well over a month for a refund and can’t get hold of anyone. I’ve emailed twice and been given a generic response so I emailed saying I want more information not just the generic response and got no reply. £200 of dresses as I ordered a few to try, and no refund :(”

“I sent a dress back,nice dress but just didn’t suit me! I had to wait 35 days for a refund!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!😡 there’s no technical reason why a refund should take that long!! Looking at a lot of other people’s experiences, they keep doing this! I wish I had looked at reviews PRIOR to ordering… AND I’m £8 out of pocket for the postage costs!!. A company shouldn’t be allowed to behave in this way! Absolutely diabolical. I’ll never shop there again😡, rather short sighted of them though, as obviously they’ll lose a lot of custom once people become wise to their wrong doings!! AVOID IF YOU DON’T WANT HASSLE!!!!!”

“Dreadful service, a refund will take at least 6 weeks and several emails before it is issued, then charged £8.00 for the privilege. No telephone customer service is always a red flag.”

“PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PART WITH YOUR HARD EARNED CASH!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS ANYTHING!!!!!!! YOU PLACE AN ORDER, IT COMES, THEY SEND THE WRONG SIZE. THEN THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 28 DAYS FOR A REFUND. I SPENT 2 HOURS, YES 2 HOURS ON HOLD TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STARTED AT NUMBER 5 IN THE QUEUE. I GOT TO NUMBER 1 THEN AFTER 45MINS IT JUST CUTS OFF. 2 HOURS IN TOTAL!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE SENT SEVERAL EMAILS AND I JUST KEEP GETTING THE SAME "GENERIC" REPLY. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH NOT TO ORDER FROM CHI CHI. THEY WILL POSSIBLY SEND YOU THE WRONG SIZE (US instead of UK) AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO GET A REFUND. I SO WISH I HAD LOOKED AT REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING. I WILL BE GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Ordered 3 dresses to decide which one I liked for a wedding. Sent the other 2 back and Chi Chi have not sent the refund for them, they owe me over £170 Had to take it up with PayPal because they don't reply or answer phone. Very disappointing will never buy again don't waste your time or money”

“I ordered a dress from here. Dress was beautiful good quality and fitted perfectly just didn't suit style so returned. I have waited 5 weeks for a refund and I am still waiting. Its a joke to get your money back.”

“If I could give a minus score or zero I would. Poor customer care if any! Still waiting for my refund after Chi Chi received my items on 30th January. Apparently a refund is paid within 30 days however still waiting. I have chased and been ignored - just not acceptable when you have MY MONEY!!!”

“I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, bought dresses that unfortunately were not suitable, all returned - which took a month for them to acknowledge & then a 28 day wait for a refund, which has not been done & I am still waiting. Fortunately bought via PayPal who are investigating & hopefully I will get my money refunded. Would never buy from this company again. Another poor online company, always check the reviews, these companies should not be able to get away with this awful service.”

“If I could give 0 I would. I have never left a bad review for a company so I hope this conveys just how bad my experience with chi chi has been. I returned the items over 6 weeks ago and I am yet to receive a refund. Every step of the way the customer service has been poor - I have outlined just some of the issues below. 1. I was incorrectly told that I was out of date for my return 2.Numerous phone calls to customer service were unanswered and were disconnected once I became 'first in line', having waited nearly an hour on hold climbing up the queue 3. The refund has not been processed within the time limit, according to UK law "You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They do not have to provide a reason." (Extract from UK government website)”

“Do not order from this company!!! I paid for next day delivery only to receive the dresses two weeks later. Customer service is none existent. They do not answer phones or reply to emails. I have now been waiting six weeks to get my refund and again, nobody answers the phones. How can I be caller number 1 for over an hour???? Clearly there is nobody actually taking the calls. Quality of the dresses is very poor and cheaply made. Not worth all this hassle.”
