Frustrating that you can't talk to anyone, only live chat. Took me over 1 hr to change my address.

It seems the process of providing quote for car buying projects doesn’t exist. It’s not straightforward at all to get a quote. The employee on the chat seems to try their best, but uses much too many ‘copied/pasted’ questions and answers. Doesn’t feel personalised. I even feared on several occasions that my questions were not understood. To finish with: the quotes provided for a change a vehicle for a similar range are totally unreasonable. It feels like a ransom process, to be honest!

Called by JL2. Had a pleasant conversation. Covered any issues that arose. Really good to talk to someone rather than chat lines. For myself at my age contact outweighs chat. JL2 did a really professional job and was most considerate and helpful. Thank you for the backup call. Arnold Siswick.

MS2 was very efficient and helpful but she was not helped by the fact that we had to go through all of the processes again having done this earlier in the week with her colleague who had not updated any notes on the record.

To start with, I really cannot understand why you are called one call insurance, customers can not call you as you now have no phone number for customer services. The £24 admin fee to change vehicle is some what excessive. The agent on live chat eventually solved my issue, however, seemed to go missing between exchanges for a long time. I would suggest, you get the phones back in, I will be looking at insurance companies that speak to customers next time.

Disappointed that I had to pay £20 up front before I could get car recovered! I thought I was paying for that with breakdown cover.

I paid online at lunchtime, and still do not have an email confirmation or receipt - it took me 3 attempts to speak to someone on Chat and was told that I should receive all the remaining details by this evening - and still nothing. They have also put an additional £30 (2 lots of admin fee) onto the amount that is clearing in my bank .... I am feeling super anxious currently because we are coming into the weekend and as yet I do not have confirmation of new cover!! I am starting to wish I had stayed with my last provider now! The guy I was speaking to on chat was very polite but still i have nothing in writing!!

hm8 I was quite shocked at how much insurances had increased so after shopping around, I wanted to give onecall the opportunity to do something as over the years I have been more than happy with the service. Holly M hm8 was on live chat, she talked me through everything was really specific with my needs & addressed all my concerns. I got the best deal & continue to stay with onecall because of her help, professionalism & customer service. Thanks again

I would have really liked to of been able to actually talk with a person on the phone . For peace and mind to know that I had done it all correctly . Sadly this is not possible .

Live chat was OK but I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I was not happy I couldn't get a second car in my partners name on my insurance. So I had to take out a separate one for her which cost £60 more. Am I entitled for the the £40 for getting her to take out a policy

I cancelled auto renewal, but One Call auto renewed anyway. This was quite annoying as I had a cheaper quote with Lloyds After spending ages in a que eventually got through to Brooke (br1) who started by responding to a completely different question from the one that I asked... Surprisingly(!!!) I got an improved quote when I asked to reverse the auto renewal in order to switch.... There were long pauses in the conversation but we got there eventually...

Not easy to get hold of anyone to speak to in person, and cancellation made difficult. However, Ai2 on live chat was most helpful when I called about my refund.

Annoying you can’t speak to a person or find a phone number. did an online change of vehicle which apparently never went through but was charged twice for the change then spent over an hour to rectify problem. The person who I spoke to on the web chat was very helpful and efficient but the whole process of using portal didn’t work, wasted time caused frustration and left me unsure if I was covered for my new vehicle which apparently I wasn’t . Not a good system

IW4 managed to sort out my problem today. However my overall dealings with One Call Insurance has not been a pleasant experience. Would prefer to speak to someone in person. Will be considering using a different company when my current policy expires.

Customer service adviser was patient and efficient ae9 Premium for change of car though for 1 month was very high compared to comparison companies. Disappointed as been with company for years. Customer Service has always been good. Admin fee waived which helped. Renewal due in a month so will then seek out the cheapest quote.
