Cerainly acceptable. I chose One Call because of favourable reviews, even though it was not the cheapest quote Compare the Market gave me. The documents offered by your portal did not seem to me to describe all the cover offered, especially on hire car cover, but other bits too, like legal cover. I tried to phone as I don't do well with on-line chats, but the phone number only offered options to progress claims. I opened a chat line and was 13th in a queue so had to wait a while. The chat did eventually succeed in providing me with details of hire car cover but it was a mighty stilted dialogue.

Its a shame as brokers you don't talk on the phone to potential clients. I could have given the opportunity to insure two vehicles and our house but no way of discussing other than online chat. Insurance Brokers used to offer the personal touch but clearly not in this day and age.

In the end the agent TD2 was very helpful. Did manage to sell me a couple of add on's but beneficial. This after trying online for over 24hrs. Go to the chat and wait in line then get the admin fee waived , they are online only but the chat and agent is best and most efficient. Still more time consuming than a call though ,in my case.

I moved 8 miles down the road in Devon (still a quiet area) and I had to pay £60+ additional premium with one month left before renewal !! Seems excessive

Staff helpfulness is off the scale brilliant but I do believe that as a company you should try and make it easier for your customers to upload their documents! I have now spoken with my previous insurer to try and obtain the email of no claims proof in a different format and they have confirmed that in their experience 99.9% of insurance companies would except an email as proof Saga will kindly send me a letter which I will photograph and send to you but it really doesn't bode well for when I come to the end of my year with you. Will you provide the same service if I choose to insure with a different provider?
