Canceling a claim was extremely hard, made various calls, live chat and still did not get it sorted . I just hope you can add a cancel claim link.

I had tried unsuccessfully to transfer my current vehicle insurance policy to my new car on the website as it would not let me enter my vehicle manually andit just kept going round in a loop everytime. I tried ringing but could not get through and really needed to sort my insurance out that day without waiting for someone to call back. I then tried the chat function which was better in that someone came online very quickly. However, I had to repeat the answers I had already entered online before initiating the chat and the operator seemed more interested in upselling me additional insurance products which were not relevant as it was a brand new vehicle. It seemed like the operator was following a script rather than responding to my request. We did manage to sort it out eventually via the chat but it felt tortuous and I incurred an additional admin charge because I had not been able to complete via my portal through no fault of my own.

I got a callback from EC1 who was friendly, helpful and quick. He matched another company for a renewal and made it all very easy. EC1 must be a real asset to the company- switched on, courteous and professional.

I'm sure the concept works for younger drivers/riders who are glued to phones all day but the entire on-line nonsense for me is just not worth it. "We value your call rubbish, you are 15th in line"... I'm 72 and might be dead by the time someone picks up! All I want to do is change vehicle and it seems only us old boomers who have any money these days. I don't have a multi-vehicle insurance and do not renew automatically (big con that one).... just a change in registration and vehicle...Voila, but it takes years! Back to the insurance geezer on the High Street...what's left of the High Street. I'd willingly pay more for contact with a human!

I find your text chat service such a hassle for me. I am 64 years old and very old fashioned and would prefer to talk to someone over the phone even if it might cost me 2-3 pounds more..

Never had to make a claim. Disappointed that I had to pay two months of payments when I cancelled my insurance with only two months left.

Been with them 2 years now issue but took so much to just try and change my vehicle that I just wanted to cancel. Multiple calls with promised call backs and a motorhome team who I don't think exists. Thankfully I got I sorted in the end with the help of Shanon (SR8) who finally got it swapped for me to then review at renewal and gave me a little faith back in the company.

It was really easy to take out an insurance policy with One Call Insurance. I never made a claim, so I don't know how efficient they are in dealing with claims; however, I sold my car, but I found their cancellation fee quite excessive. I don't exclude using them again, but only if my next car is one that I don't need to sell, hence the reason for giving only three stars. In my opinion, they should revise their fees, especially in these days when some are struggling to make their ends meet.

Not great had to make two payments as the quote was incorrect? Curious as generated by an IT system. Had to provide the same information to the same person twice. Not sure until I receive the new policy whether the wording will be different?

Reward Loyalty by increasing premium by more than 25% despite not submitting a claim! Why do this? Why did i have to waste my time negotiaiting with your representative?

All I wanted to do was cancel my renewal. The quote I received for the renewal was £160 cheaper. When I call to cancel renewal I don’t want to be kept waiting while you try to do better - too late, you didn’t look after an existing customer. Took over 10 minutes to just cancel the renewal online. Had previously called helpline twice - 1st time hung up on after 1 ring, 2nd time, no answer and disconnected.

BC1 very helpful (5*), but it shouldn't have to be necessary to spend an hour on a chat to get a sensible renewal quote (chat reduced initial quote by £30 to match alternative quote obtained). Why cant you just provide the best quote when sending renewal notices?

The products are straightforward and reasonably competitive. Getting to speak to somebody about vehicle mods was not well signposted. The website could have had some information about the process and phone number for this to make it easier. I had to queue for live chat to establish who I needed to contact, but having said that, the queuing was quick and although getting replies was a bit slow once in the chat, I got all the information needed and a phone number to sort it out. This was a general phone line and then I was back in a queue or call-back which I opted for. Once called back, Jordan was very efficient and we were able to quickly sort out a new policy and a refund on the old one.
