Very happy with my policy but poor renewal routine and really slow telephone and chat response very frustrating. Rescued by going through the chat service with Emily eb4. She was thorough, considerate, polite and I was in the end happy to renew. I totally disagree that documents are no longer sent out, and the system has nowhere to declare that you need paper documents- that should be changed. Emily has confirmed you will send paper documents Thank you

Been on hold for 35 minutes with no answer, what has happened to the world we no longer have a person to talk to !!!!

The only thing I have a problem with is not being able to talk to anyone on the phone. Things would be easier to explain and quicker over the phone. Yes I used the online chat in which all people were helpful and friendly but it’s a pain. I’m can’t solve my problem just to change my start date insurance for 1 day can’t see a problem. I have tried temporary insurance for a day but I’m certainly not paying £35 for a day, it only need for half a day. It’s just a money making trick. Other than that all good

Do I call, do I online chat? Just wanting to change my insurance midterm as I bought a new car, became a lengthy process where I was pushed between online chat and phone.

I waited a long in the queue for the Chat Room. SM2 was efficient (5*) but had to refer my query on, so no resolution yet!

My only criticism of One Call insurance is the inability to contact them by phone. I am disabled and unable to type quickly enough to stop the live chat being disconnected

Insurance certificate not showing and portal not easy to use. Need phone numbers for claims and breakdown not easy to find.

A score is always based on how personal expectations are met or missed, for me I find the “online chat” experience painful and unreliable, although it does at least point out how the session can be (so easily) disrupted. That said, they were able to provide a competitive quote and when you connect with a member of the team, they are generally very helpful - shout out to JW5! If you are looking for a competitive price, don’t want to insure anything too “interesting” and plus you’re happy with a solely online engagement, go for it.. not sure I will again.

I have recently switched my current account to a new bank using the automated switching service. All other Direct Debits (I have many) have transferred painlessly, but One Call did not moved to my new account and I recieved an e-mail and a paper letter telling me that my montly payment had failed and I needed to take steps to keep my car insurance in place. I made a one-off payment to make sure my insurance continued, but I could not see a way to make a permanent update. A few days later I got a call from Riley who was very helpful. He explained that making a one-off payment from a different bank would cause future monthly payments to be taken from that account. It was good to know that I did not need to do anything else, although not intuitive that a "one-off" payment would switch my regular account on a recurring basis. Anyway, all sorted out now.

The advisor Perry did his very best help me. Unfortunately he could not fulfil my request and not to his own fault.. It would really help if when I try to phone One Call that I could talk to an actual human or be able to email at least. I am hoping for a call back tomorrow. The portal was not helpful at all in this case and once again it was not the phone advisors fault.
