Long online wait to cancel,the policy... Screen then froze so still unsure of cancelled properly In future would only use a company with telephone contact

Several attempts to “chat”. Gave up as wait was too long. Eventually stuck it out and after approximately an hour between the wait and the “chat” came away with nearly £70 fees.i understand the upsell culture, but didn’t like feeling pressured. Thinking I will shop around when renewal comes.

Nothing wrong with your car insurance but to cancel my car insurance policy was an absolute joke. Forty minutes of typing back&forth waiting for you to type back. I can now see on my portal that policy has been cancelled but i' m completely unaware if I'm entitled to a partial refund even though I typed this question twice.

Reference KT 1 I spoke to Keira Tombs today. I originally phoned and requested a call back. This was received within 5 minutes from Keira. She was pleasant and helpful and carried out my request for a change to my cover and answered my questions in a clear and concise manner.

They didn’t. Tried to get a renewal quote around 28 days before my insurance ran out. Online didn’t allow me to nor did it let me talking online Then sent me a renewal letter at zero cost Did chat online who said they will send me a quote but still waiting for it Of course their rules say can only do 21 days before it expires Needed to do it early as going abroad. So not very customer friendly Have had to go elsewhere to get my car insurance

The website wouldn’t work for my renewal and I had to call customer services. SR8 was very helpful with changing my bike insurance over, however the extortionate admin fees from one call have ensured I won’t be renewing my policy again with this company.

Look i think you charging £15 for a missed direct debit is so wrong.people are going through a difficult times.i will be looking for different insurance companies in August when my insurance is up for renewal

I changed my car . My insurance went from £200 to £640 a year !!!! I thought I’d look on the internet £285 with Churchill for the same cover - WHY ???? I’ve also got a £79 bill to leave the company The help line was so slow texting . It took me 12 minutes to just get through basic security

Leah and Engin K have been helpful and reassuring when in contact. However the processes of the company have caused me quite a lot of stress. I thought after Day 2 that the policy was completed. Then Day 2 I received a message that the policy was not completed . It then transpired that you didn’t have my car registration number. Not sure how this happened as initially I was messaged that the policy was completed. Today- day 4 I received a message that the policy was not completed with a link to contact you. I clicked on the link but it said page not found. This morning after live chat you have confirmed that the policy is up and running. Not sure what is happening with your company but this has all been very stressful

I was scammed on my bank account. The bank tried to set up a new account. She was unable to transfer my dd. Unknown to me 3 payments had gone through without my knowledge. 1 council bill sorted as soon as I knew. Water got paid but one call. No sympathy, charged me £15. Then while I was on-line (because you can't phone) they told me I wasn't covered for legal fees then I wasn't covered for burst pipes. Extra. Then they had the cheek to ask for good scores on this review. Won't be using them again. They don't value existing customers. And since when did everything become an add on.

I have just cancelled my insurance (have sold my car) - the 'chat' process was laborious, took far too long and despite asking for (and being told I would get it) my no claims proof, I have not received anything. It seems impossible to contact One Call other than through the 'Chat line' where there is invariable a queue for an agent.

Call handler was helpful but made an error that meant they tried to charge me an extra £260. Quickly revivified and did everything else to help me.

EK4 did a good job. Your portal is rubbish and difficult to use although the online chat was helpful and quick. On the whole I would not recommend One Call I still want to talk to a person on the phone and receive paperwork in the post. Not everyone has the skills or wants to do everything online. I have happily paid more to go elsewhere.
