“DO NOT touch this company with a bargepole - totally immoral and presumably this is not illegal - but I'm not sure why - see below. I am on automatic renewal with One Call for my house Insurance. However, luckily I happened to look at the renewal. Last Year I paid about £250.00 and the automatic renewal was set at £716 for this year nearly 3 times as much. However for those who read the letter they offer to change that to £344 if you phone to ask. Such sharp practice and totally immoral - people like my mother just leave automatic renewal on and would be totally taken advantage of. By the way a comparison site had renewals around £260 for better coverage.”
