Hello, Here’s the thing, I’ve been a Costco member for a very long time. I enjoy the experience for the simplified straightforward experience. One tap payment for fuel & warehouse payment as an example. As I happened to be in Edmonton I thought I’d stop by the 142st location to have a look. Had my AirPods in listening to music and as I cruised past the main entrance as I usually do showing my card as I always do. The clerk said something I didn’t really hear as I went by. As I was walking in the warehouse another clerk approached me and said I didn’t “check in” I asked when did this start she said about 3 weeks ago. I said that’s okay, I’ll leave. So here’s the thing for myself personally. I want my life to be simplified and streamlined, not the other way around. I avoid lineups like the plague. I will Nope this location and any other location that adds additional steps in my Costco experience. So now I have to wait in a line to check into the warehouse and then someone Checks my membership card when I use the self checkout and then I have to wait again some someone can check my receipt for “errors” Too many step for this member! Went to Costco on powers in Colorado Springs. Had my emotional support dog with me. He is old and can’t walk. Manager Michael denied entry. They need to check out the Colorado law. Can’t make they on one. Rude

I visited the store today to buy some essential items for my mother who has a disability. Upon entering the store I was allowed in by security. At the check out an employee by the name of Kelvin seized my mothers membership card and advised she will have to collect it herself despite me pleading with him he refused to return the card. When I requested to speak to a manger he questioned my request. I then proceeded to look for a manager myself. A manager by the name of Dominque was extremely rude, impatient and advised that my mothers membership will be ceased because she has a disability when I asked her where in the terms and a conditions it stipulates this clause she failed to provide me with a satisfactory answer instead she shouted at me and refused to provide me with the head offices email address. My mother has been an executive member of Costco since 2010, I am appalled by the way she has been treated due to her disability. I will engaging a solicitor to write to the business regarding the awful treatment of my mother. I would strongly advise customers to not shop at this store especially if you have a disability.

Delivery and removal service is a joke they will fill you with empty promises and then never deliver on them. and your still stuck with your old fridge!! They don’t do 4 man teams for removal but they will tell you they do so save yourself some time and buy from Home Depot!

Bought appliance through costco thinking about the warranty they have. Now my frustrations are due to the LACK OF SUPPORT from warranty. Horrible experience. Horrible customer service.

Wanted a refund on my membership that is a 100% guarantee and was denied the 100% guarantee. The staff walked away from me after harassing me to sign a form and called the cops. Costco then tells my purchases to the police so that it stays in a police report that anyone can view now Melissa Osgood decided to state to the cops that I was verbally abusing her at the Roseville Michigan store. The video recording does not have any verbal abuse I was only trespassed for not signing a form. Melissa Osgood trespassed me for not signing a form They denied me a tire warranty service after I got a screw in my tire. Omar Nezami the guy who gloats they pay him so well he can flat out buy a Mercedes offers me $200. It's great to know they pay him so well but offer me petty change after using the cops as a weapon on me. I only wonder if telling the police I was a Hispanic creating a disturbance was only to try and get a faster response. Really odd to have 6 cops to come so fast IF YOU BUY GOLD HERE BEWARE AS THEY TOLD 2 GOVERNMENT AGENCIES THAT I DID

The worst experience when it comes to management. I applied for a membership one week ago at Surrey BC King George avenue and the lady told me the printer was out of order. They took my photo and asked me to download the app. I downloaded the app and it took me through a lengthy process of verification through Interac asking me to login into my bank account. Trusting this huge business I followed the prompts and it said the account is verified. Then when I opened the app it said not verified. I went three times but the bunch of women at the customer service failed to resolve. They asked me to delete the account and app. I did, and they gave me another membership number. Instead of solving the issue, the women kept giving me lectures on becoming a VIP member. 1 went through the whole process of identification and verification again and it still did not work. The whole Costco membership process is a joke. I'd recommend going to Sam's or BJ'S. Looking at the overall one star reviews for all locations, you would think they would address the issue with payment. Does it really matter who pays for it.? Don't get a membership here folks, you will regret it eventually, not to mention the employees hate their job

Guy left without installing dishwasher because he said floor was not level. Shouldn’t an installer know how to level an appliance. He left and said he couldn’t do it AND lefty water turned off and when we turned it back on, water was shooting out from bottom of sink where he was trying to connect something. So now we have a dishwasher sitting in our kitchen and no water to even hand wash dishes. Would never recommend buying dishwasher at Costco.

The manager at sun prairie Costco his name is Chad, absolutely disgusting behavior from any employee! My daughter is African American and white and she looks more black passing she came in with some Prada glasses frames we bought online and she just needed to get her prescription in them I’ve done this before so I told her about it and she asked Chad for his company fax number so target could send her prescription over and she stepped off to the side Chad decided it would be best to notice the young lady and ask her if the glasse frames were his and basically accusing her of stealing the frames that where on her face. She clearly walked in with them on as a Camera would prove that but she didn’t even want to get the frames switched out to her prescription anymore and was feeling very uncomfortable after words if this how the CEO wrote that discrimination and racism letter I don’t think this was the case.

They had no intentions of honoring the contract and left their product in the way and not installed. They did a drive by drop off and screwed me over.

I’m absolutely frustrated with Costco refrigerator purchase refrigerator not work and Costco only give 2 years and that company replaced it and that was broken too after that they send an other one, and few months after it’s broken again the brand is kenmore, it was the only time I see Costco with this brand and I got it I’m very exhausted with this situation. Now they said the guarantee it’s expired my god , the all guaranteed have issues back and forth so not broken again and I will trough it

Have been a Costco member for 20+ years. I placed an online order for a washing machine on a Wednesday for delivery on Saturday. Got several emails and a text confirming delivery time. Delivery time arrives and expires and I hear nothing from Costco. Waiting for 2 hours beyond delivery time (almost 9PM) before giving up on them. The next morning I get an email saying delivery was rescheduled for that day (Sunday). I hear no more from them. On Monday I check the status online and it says delivery rescheduled due to customer request? Huh? I never requested this. By Wednesday, I had enough so I called customer service. Guy tells me that they tried to delivery but no one answered the door. I said, did they take pictures, did they call me, did they leave a note? Of course not because it never happened. They failed to delivery and are covering their butts. I told him to cancel and issue a full refund. Later that day I get an email saying the my order was cancelled and a note saying "Product lost". Wow. How do you lose a washing machine? My guess is that they destroyed it somehow or it was employee theft. Hard to believe this is Costco that I was dealing with.

I wanted a refund on my membership and raised my voice. They have 3 cop cars show up and they tell the government what I bought without my permission.

bought guava fruit but it was awful. After 1 bite it tasted awful. So I threw the whole fruit away. I paid $6.49. If I didn't buy this I might have bought vitamins. Now I feel bad because I lost my money. Thanks Costco. I don't know if I'll shop there again but I won't believe their fruit has any flavor anymore.

At the food court I ordered a slice of pizza a sandwich and 2 cokes I did a little shopping about 15 minutes I went to pickup my order where you pickup whole pizza the lady barked at me and said it wasn't ready 1 hour later I went back to where you pickup whole pizzas and a different lady told me I had to pickup my order on the other side of the counter I didn't know that when I went to check on my order on the other side of the counter a different lady barked at me and told me we called out your # 20 minutes ago no one answered so we thow your order away I learned something today 7-25-24 the hard way I got a refund

My wife and I have been executive members with Costco since 1999, #823583720000. We have purchased all our appliances from Costco. In the past, they have always bent over backwards to resolve any issues that may arise. This all changed with our last order. We purchased a Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher and a Washer & Dryer (all Samsung) when we bought our new house. We have had issues with the Fridge and Dishwasher. They took care of the issues. At the beginning of 2024, (January), we started noticing a number of articles of clothes with stains on them. The question became, how did this get stained? Some were new and had only been washed once. WE determined they were coming out of the washer with these new stains. We changed laundry detergent from Tide to Gain, same thing. We stopped using the fragrance beads. Still the stains appeared. (this all took time to go through this process of elimination). In March, I called Costo Warranty/Tech support. The opened a ticket #240618-001755. The sent out a 3rd party company named UNI. They came out, diagnosed the washer as having a cracked drum. They didn’t have a drum in stock so they ordered it. A little over 3 weeks later, they came back out and replaced the drum. All good, right? Wrong. It took another 3-4 weeks for us to notice the problem still existed. Our clothes were still coming out of the washer stained. Noticeable on light colored and white clothes. I called Costco back and I was told that the washer is out of warranty. I explained that is still the same problem that was not repaired the 1st time. They apologized and told me that the ticket was closed. The more I thought about this, the more upset I got. 70% of the stuff we have as furnishings in our home was purchased from Costco. I called them back to talk to someone about this. This isn’t right. When I started the claim, it was still under warranty. It was never repaired properly. WE still have clothes being ruined. And now the tell me, sorry, the washer is out of warranty. I spoke to a nice understanding gentleman on 7/22. He stated that the decision didn’t seem right. He opened another ticket, 240722-000373 and said he would escalate to a supervisor. I received the below response on 7/24: Response By Email (Abelina G) (07/23/2024 06:07 PM) Dear Robert Unfortunately your [Samsung Washer] is Out of Warranty as of [4/26/2024] and there is no Extended Warranty purchased. Our last request of service was set up for Samsung to contact you for repair on 3/25/2024 and an appointment on 3/29/2024. We had not heard back from you on the case, so the case was closed as resolved. We understand that this might not be the news you wanted to hear and do apologize about the inconvenience you are going through. Our warranty coverage is with Citi Bank at this time and the warranty is under their policy history so unfortunately, we are not able to take over or assist with their warranty claim procedure. We hope this information helps a little and thank you for your time. Sincerely, Abelina G Resolution Team Costco Technical and Warranty Services www.costco.com | 866.611.6103 This is unacceptable. A reasonable person would agree that I shouldn’t have to replace a washer every 2 years. I’m not even asking for compensation for the hundreds of dollars’ worth of clothes the washer has ruined. Costco will either take care of this or we will be forced to purchase a new washer and dryer (because you will never match the washer to the dryer now). Mycharge is a product sold by Costco that was recalled . I did what they said since my unit was recalled and they are stalling and finding excuses to not replace the product . Stay away from this product , Costco should stop selling items where the MFG plays a game that they’ll replace it then you try to get it replace and get the run around . I’m considering getting rid of my Costco membership since they are part of this .

Today I went to Costco in SE Gilbert, AZ and I was walking in as I have done so many other times through the entrance for customer service to get to the food court and more often than not, the line for customer service is backed up to the entrance, so I did like many times before, moved over to where people are exiting so that I can get to the food court and I was stoped by an employee. I did not get his name but he just sent me back saying that I needed to use the entrance. While I understand that, I was confused as to when the rule started since I have accessed the food court many times using that same tour. Also, I think is ridiculous for a customer to have to walk around to the entrance then down the path, then to the registers, then cross them when more often than not they are backed up with people trying to pay so that I can finally reach the food court. On top of that, the employee approached me, or more accurately, yelled at me from a distance making me feel embarrassed of doing something I have always done and never stopped nor told by any employee that I am supposed to go around using the main entrance.
