“I was in Costco Sepulveda in Van Nuys checking out with my son. One of the item has no bar code and they ask us to finish the checking out without the item with no bar code. The personnel had told us to wait for a few minutes as somebdy will get the item with a bar code. The wait was 14 mins which I was asking in between if somebody was taking care of it. The personnel, especially the supervisor on duty was very rude in responding to an irritated customer. It was already passed 8pm and I have not eaten dinner yet so we have to eat the popsicle as we are already hungry and I am worried that my popsicle will melt. So sad a personnel like that can not pacify customer complaints.”

“Today is one of the most unpleasant days for me; I arrived at Costco as usual and then when I was going to pay the employee who is helping the cashier took a picture of me without my authorization and then ran to the office; I arrived and I said I wanted to talk to the manager and she came just to tell me that I had not taken any photos but she did not check the security camera and sees that her employee took my photo it is unfair that one as a customer goes through this and the managers do nothing about it I hope Costco Wholesale Do something

“I was issued a $15 digital Costco gift card for all my trouble & numerous calls to right a shipement that was ruined because of the way it was packed at the Costco Warehouse. When my refund for one of the items was finally issued several weeks later ! ( after at least 5 phone calls) they deducted $15 from my original receipt ! Nothing like giving you something, then taking it back. I think you just lost me as a customer.”
“This was my first time ordering online from Costco. It was the worst online ordering experience I have ever had! If you are a Costco member, whatever you do, do not forget your password. It took multiple attempts to reset mine. So many that I lost count. Then the site is soooooo slow! It continually buffers and I had to keep clicking on my cart to advance the checkout process. The only reason I persevered is because the item I wanted is heavy, had free shipping, and it will be easier to get the item into my house directly from my porch. “I was approached by membership rep to upgrade the membership at Redwood City, CA. I told him i was not interested, he just kept talking. I said I felt harassed, he said that it is Costco doing and I would experience this until I upgrade my membership! He stared at me the rest of the check out process, which made me very uncomfortable and not safe to go to this store. Costco advertises harassment free environment; however, this aggressive approach is promoting unwelcoming behavior from employees.
Costco should review its own policies and train employees what harassment means.”
