Purchased 2 TV's 1 has a Issue. 13 months old. Was passed back and forth from LG Tech Support to Costco Tech Support. They sent 2 different Repair Techs to my house and both did the same repair. Replace a Board in the TV. Did not fix the problem. LG said I had to go to Costco. Costco said it was a LG problem. My 5 year Warranty from Costco means nothing. The Tech Rep with Costco told me she would call me on Monday. To let me know what would be the next steps, to get the problem resolved, if the Saturday Repair she scheduled did no fix the issue. Never called. Sent me a E-Mail Tuesday evening to let know that they had determined it was a Firmware problem and they didn't cover that. BUYER BE WARE. 5 Year warranty means nothing. Just a false advertisement Costco fools customer's into buying TV's. I waisted 2 months of my time sending E-Mails, Phone calls and 2 scheduled visits to my house for nothing. Will never purchase Electronics from Costco again.

I was so excited to get a Costco in my city as I was a BIG Costco shopper over 10 years ago in Colorado. What a HUGE disappointment. The prices were the same OR higher on just about everything in the store. Why exclusive privilege am I a paying $120 a year membership for? I have not found enough items that justify paying to shop there. The selection, savings, prices have all gone downhill since 2013. It was such a BIG letdown. More people signed up at the new Daytona Beach store than ever prior to a new Costco opening. It will be interesting to see how many memberships you retain next year. Unless you do some AMAZING price adjustments; I will not be renewing. For example; looking for a new TV. All prices were matched (or beat) by competitor stores that do not make you pay a fee to come in and shop. Shameful. I'm so tired of the greed in corporate America. It's just in your face 24/7.

Mi experiencia reciente fue en el Cotsco de pines ( 15915 Pines Blvd Pembroke Pines, FL 33027 United States ) La espera en la zona de comidas preparadas por una pizza es demasiado además de que una chica que trabaja ahí (liz) al verme ahí incómoda por la espera y en frente de todo el mundo comenzó a decirme cosas y a decirme que se notaba que tenía hambre pero que tenía que esperar asumo que me dijo de forma sarcástica lo de que tenía hambre tratando de ofenderme y discriminarme ya que soy una mujer con obesidad , también tengo que recalcar que la supervisora y la manager trataron de hacerme sentir mejor después de las ofendas de Luz pero me parece que no fue algo correcto y me sentí ridiculizada frente a todos los clientes ahí presentes , muchos por cierto debido a la larga espera .

Ordered a fridge online. 3rd party driver was what. Delivered unit, didn't install, left front door pen, lights on and didn't haul away old unit.

Boise ID Costco!!! One week ago I went in to order tires. Erick J was so patient, understanding and really respectful. He took time to walk me through all the tires. When I went yesterday to have them installed. Wow Anthony was rude, treated me like I was stupid and was all defensive about my questions. Sorry I am not a tire expert. Costco if Anthony was my first contact I would have walked out. He does not belong in that role. He has no right to be an utter ass to the people that pay his wages. He really needs some customer skills or a new position away from the public. No one deserves his attitude...

Costco Just moved in the Volusia County Florida. I was excited. I paid for a membership on line with my master card. I let a few weeks go by before I went over to the store. After getting my new membership card, I went into the store and placed into my cart about $250 worth of products. The new Costco had a nice selection but not the wows I had heard of. At the pay out, my card that I used to purchase the membership on line that has thousands of credit on it was rejected. I knew I had no issue because I pay off my card EVERY month. I was told that COSTCO - DOES NOT accept Mastercard. Only VISA and debit cards or cash. WOW! They could take my MASTERCARD on line for the membership but Not for in store purchases. MAKES NO SENSE. The excuse is that VISA has demanded that only VISA be allowed in person at their stores. I have great credit and a number of master cards that I pay off EVERY Month. But NO #*#*# Visa. I will not use my debit card because I DO NOT need some hacker to take my bank account information and wipe out my account. Now the customer service people are extremely kind, they can no nothing but speak to the company line. Extremely disappointed. COSTO....... As Sam's Plus member....I see NO more savings at COSTCO. Too bad COSTO is so short sighted.

Costco South Tulsa Oklahoma. Only 2 cashiers on duty today. At self checkout they would not allow me to use the hand scanner and I would have had to hand swipe each item. An employee stood there next to me with a scanner and would not scan them. I saw elderly people struggling to lift their items to scan. I had to pick up my daughter and the line had taken so long I walked out and left my cart full Date of experience: February 29, 2024

I purchased a washing machine from Costco since I have been so pleased with Costco. It was delivered on 2/23/24. The hose was too short, so I had to order an attachment. Then, when I connected it, it did not work. I now have to wait an entire week to have a service person come out to check it, as that is the soonest a person can come. I am beyond livid. I don't understand how a company like Costco cannot have service people who are more readily available. I also learned that if it indeed is not working properly that I will have to order a new one . I will be without a washing machine for, at best, a week. When I called customer service four times, I was told the same thing. I am disgusted and would never recommend anyone to purchase an appliance from Costco.

Suppliers are cheating Costco corporate buyers, or corporate buyers are inexperienced. Fresh Mushrooms are packed with long stems. Dates are small and low quality. potatoes have green poison under skin, Fresh produce is old. expiration on products are very short. Overall quality has dropped and price has increased.

The entire tone at Costco is stressful and rude. The employees set an impatient tone, and it works through the clientele as well. It has all the charm of a conscentration camp. One example, I came to the very long line to self checkout. I had the letter that gave me year end money back. The person controling the line roughly pointed at me and then disgustedly pointed to the checkout line. I had no idea what he was trying to commumicate, other than that he was annoyed with me. He finally spoke and told me the money back can only be handled at regular checkout. Why he could not do so in a civil manner, I have no idea. I am elderly. I know people don't like old people, but really... This was at the Wesley Chapel Costco. The guy handling my hearing aid cleaning was just as disagreeable. Not a good day for me or Costco.

I Purchased a Christmas gift and had it delivered to my in-laws in Oregon. I received an email that it was delivered. My father in-Law said the UPS driver only delivered a big Amazon box. and no Costco delivery was made. I contacted Costco and informed them that the UPS driver did not ask for a signature and did not take a picture of the delivery; it was $400 purchase that must require a signature! they had no proof of delivery, because it did not get delivered. they informed me that they will investigate, 3 day went by without resolution, I called again, they asked me to wait a couple of more days, I waited, then my online account showed that the return was accepted and the money is refunded! I waited 4 days without any money returned. I called Costco; they said that they made the decision to refund $0. That is not right, I did not get my Item, UPS did not deliver it! they have no proof of delivery. and they don't want to refund or replace my Item!

We bought our house early in 2020. As a way to furnish a nice eating area, we purchased a six-seat dining table from Costco a few months later. Fast forward to October 2023, over three years later. My boss gifted us an eight-seat dining table and seeing how our family was growing, we saw this as a good upgrade. We decided since we were gifted a table that we would pay-it-forward and gift our table to someone who needed or wanted it. Through word-of-mouth, we found a taker. The table was taken from our house on Thanksgiving, November 23, for the new people to enjoy. On November 24, the table was subsequently returned to Costco for a refund, unbeknownst to us. We received a letter in the mail from Costco on November 30, notifying us of the return on OUR Costco membership card and as a result, our hard-earned rewards were deducted from our account. The individuals who made the return, ended up getting the refund, over $800, on a Costco merchandise card. I am trying to understand why, since we no longer owned the table, it was returned to our account, punishing us for a prior purchase that we didn’t even return or get any compensation from? My husband, the account holder, wasn’t even present for this transaction to his account. This would enable anyone who receives a gift over $100 to return it to Costco, get a merchandise card from this gift, and punish the gift-giver for something thoughtful. I am very upset and disappointed in Costco. This is wrong and makes me reevaluate where I buy any gifts for anyone, knowing that I could possibly pay for my generosity.

You have to show your membership when you go to show your membership. Is when you walk around The store When you go into the restroom out of the restroom. Before you leave. I'm waiting for the day. They ask me to pee in a cup to make sure that it's me.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service I received at the Costco Tire Center in Wheaton, Maryland. On October 23rd, I brought my car to the center for a routine tire rotation, and the outcome was nothing short of a troubling ordeal. While performing the tire rotation, the technicians at the center found and informed me that a lugnut and a stud on the rear left wheel of my vehicle were damaged. Over the phone, I told them that I only had the tire serviced at their center before so if there were any damages to the wheel, they must have been the fault of the center. They told me to complete a claim form and seek repairs at a different auto shop. After filling in the form, I asked two staff members and got confirmation from them that I could go ahead with the repair and could return to Costco Tire Center with a receipt for reimbursement. I complied with their instructions, and on October 24th, I had the damaged components fixed by a Firestone shop at a cost of $350. Eager to have this issue resolved, I revisited the Costco Tire Center in Wheaton on October 27th, expecting to have the tires properly rotated and to receive the promised refund for the repair costs. To my dismay, the staff and the manager at Costco Tire Center attempted to avoid their responsibility and dragged their feet in addressing my concerns. They cited the need to review security camera footage to confirm the agreement made regarding repair and refund, as well as claimed that my case required higher management intervention. Furthermore, I was informed that another lugnut and stud on the same wheel were found to be in poor condition, and they refused to perform the tire rotation. It's important to note that I had purchased my tires from this same center in September 2022, and they had been exclusively serviced by Costco Tire Center for rotation. The implication is clear: any damage to the lugnuts and studs must have occurred during their previous service visits. This situation is not only exasperating but also erodes the trust I once had in Costco Tire Center in Wheaton. It's worth mentioning that this is not an isolated incident. In March, the same center caused a similar problem, but at that time, they promptly acknowledged their mistake and refunded me for the repair. While it inconvenienced me, I appreciated their commitment to rectify their error. However, this time, their conduct has been nothing short of evasive, casting doubt on their willingness to uphold the service commitment associated with the tire package I purchased from them. I strongly urge other customers to carefully reconsider conducting business with this center. My experiences have left me deeply dissatisfied, and it is apparent that they need to address their negligence and stand by their service commitments.

Costco staff treats customers like criminals. I totally understand that you need to show your membership card when entering the store. At the self checkout they ask to see it again and the staff is all around you looking at every move you make. And let’s not forget they have cameras everywhere, at the registers, top of ceiling. So what is the problem? Then upon leaving the store they go out of their way to count every item in the cart like three times. I have never been treated this way at any other major store. Costco staff need to take some customer service courses to learn how to do their job effectively, with a smile and not make their customers hate their shopping experience.

Purchased 6 new kitchen appliances. Delivery, Installation and removal of old appliances was part of the purchase. Delivery men were unprofessional and inept. They were not able to remove the frig doors to remove the old one or install the new one. Without warning they left the new refrigerator OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR, and simply left. To repeat - they left the new refrigerator OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR and left. in fact it was so close to the front door that my wife was trapped in the condo. She had to call her son in law to move the fridge enough for her to exit. We had to figure out how to move the fridge into the condo ourselves. The delivery men put the washer and dryer back on the truck before they left. 10 minutes later we received a email from costco confirming delivery and installation was completed ! After 90 minutes on phone telling this story repeatedly Costco promised to finish delivery, installation and removal next week. in the meantime, new appliances are sitting in the living room and partially disassembled appliances litter the kitchen. our confidence is not high. they offered a $300 reimbursement for our troubles.
