I have tried three different times to submit a review or contact customer service--with no response yet. Though my pickup guy was nice and did his best, I'm nonetheless completely dissatisfied with the service I received. I had a pickup scheduled last Saturday for a large two-piece sectional. I paid extra for the couch disassembly service. So I was surprised when the pickup team arrived and it was... one guy! For a large, two-piece couch with disassembly! In a third-floor walkup! The guy did not disassemble the couch and tried to drag it out himself. I ended up having to help, and after 30 minutes of pivoting, we finally got both pieces down the stairs. I was sweaty and sore. I'm completely confused as to how I paid $150 to have someone else move my couch, only to have to do a large part of the work myself. Moreover, even though I paid for disassembly service, the guy didn't disassemble anything! The larger piece of the sectional was disassembled to get it INTO my apartment, which is why I paid to have it disassembled to remove it. Yet this did not happen. I did not get what I paid for. If I wanted to move my own couch out, I could have bribed a friend with beer and pizza for a lot less than $150. If I wanted to try to move the big piece of the couch without disassembling it, ending up sore and sweaty, I could have done so myself. I paid you guys so that I wouldn't have to, but I had to anyway. I'm completely dissatisfied and think I deserve a refund for this service. At the very least, I need to be refunded for the disassembly service I paid for, as--again--no disassembly occurred!

They kept robocalling to postpone pickup until we eventually cancelled and they kept 20% of the payment. Seems like a scam, can’t recommended

This is the worst place and they are scammers! Do NOT use them! I booked for a window between 4-8 and they called me at 4:30 to tell me they weren’t coming. I needed my couches removed asap since the new couches were coming the next morning. It was THEIR cancellation but they only refunded 50% back. I’m doing a charge back.

Terrible customer service. Waited over 6 hours and drivers never showed up. Kept making excuses why they were late and then never shows up at the end. Customer service refused full refund so had to do charge back. Never use these scammers!

The company was unable to find a loader to pick-up my sofa after several attempts even though the order was place 3 weeks in advance for the Seattle area. The company charges upfront and then uses local loaders (if they can find one willing/available to take the order). I give them a bonus star since their customer service was polite and responsive and they did promise a full refund.

It was a little weird having contractors back out of the job here and there throughout the day and have new ones assigned with no warning from the company, BUT the guy that did finally come removed a 3 piece sectional and an arm chair in 15 minutes all by himself. Once someone actually shows up, the service is 10/10.

Awful. Canceled on me two days in a row. Just kept offering to reschedule. Completely lost faith in their ability to even show up let alone get the job done. I had to be out of my house the next day. Awful Awful company. Don't put your faith in them. Pay the extra 20 dollars for the company that will actually show up to get the job done.

The rep showed up in a plan old pick up that couldn't possibly hold all that I had scheduled to be removed. I thought I was contracting with a furniture recycler. It looks like the old mattresses, couches and furniture are just going to the dump. Full regret I re-read the main webpage. The language about how disposal happens and pick up times is all so ambiguous and noncommittal. I gather that Couch Disposal +, err rather "Loadup", subcontracts to anyone who applies and operates more like a GrubHub type company, but worse.

Absolutely horrible service. The movers showed up more than 2 hours late. The mover was some random person in a pickup truck who brought his buddy to help move the couch. In the process of moving the couch they damaged our wall in multiple places. When you try to call it is just an automated line and you cannot actually speak to anyone. Do not use this service it is cheaper for a reason!

WORST service provider!! They didn’t show up in a window. I called him and he said he still needed another few hours. After waited for 5 hours, another few hours...Ridiculous. I called customer center and he said he couldn’t guarantee the arrival time. Wait, then why they offer time window? I patiently wait during a 5 hours window and still they couldn’t make it. Just get rid of the time window and say sometime on this date.

I scheduled an appointment for pickup of my old furniture on Friday early morning (like 2:30 am). I selected the available time slot of Saturday morning, paid the amount and went to bed. Friday morning at 9 am i received a phone call letting me know that my time slot was full and the earliest available time slot was Tuesday afternoon. I asked why the website would have it available only a few hours earlier when now it is not only over booked but full for the next 4 days. I was told that the website does not update their time slots based on availability. I know...WTF??? So i proceeded to let her know i was receiving furniture Saturday afternoon and would need my furniture out by Saturday morning the latest. She said she would let someone know my situation and see what they could do and would call back. A littl e while after i hung up, i called back to ask if they had any availability on that day because i happen to be off. I was told no and nothing could be done until Tuesday. So I told her that wouldn't work for me and I would have to cancel. I was then told i could get a 50% refund. I told her i would not pay for a service that i did not receive and did not cancel because of any fault of my own. She said someone would review my case to see if i can get the full refund. She also said she would make me a priority and someone would def get back to me within 24 hours. As you probably guessed, no one got back to me. So on Sunday i had to pay $30 to stop payment. There are so many other horror stories that you won't see on the website but they are on the Better Business Bureau's page that I have also complained on.

The contractor for Couch Disposal Plus canceled on me the day of, and then after I rescheduled they missed their 4 hour window by 2 hours. I've been trying to get a partial refund (just like $40 back for all the finagling I had to do to make the rescheduling work out with my job...) and the manager will not call me back. Emails keep bouncing back. Do not use them.

Where to start? 1. My pick up was rescheduled 3 times (throughout 2.5 weeks) 3. The first reschedule was made via text by the driver simply saying, “I can’t make it today.” 2. When I was promised a second delivery between 4-8 pm, and no one came, it was up to me to call the company to ask what’s going on. When I did so, I was told the driver had requested off and, due to an oversight, no one realized my order would go unfulfilled. 3. When someone finally came, 2.5 weeks after my originally selected pick up date- and past 8 pm, it was one person with a small car, (when I noted the couch was a 2 piece sectional). 4. My husband ended up helping the single delivery person bring our couch down three flights of stairs. 5. The single driver informed us that he is sent out to customers when the Company has a last minute order that they forgot to fulfill in the normal course of business. I do not recommend this sham business.

They were pleasant to talk to for making the appointment. The guys who came were fast and efficient and also pleasant. But don't believe their claim that the price you see online is the final price. The online price when I scheduled was $97. When I called, I was told it was going to be $40 more because "a recliner sofa is big and heavy." Then I was told that it would be another $30 if the workers had to remove the backs off the sofa, which I wouldn't know until they got there. Fortunately, they didn't have to do that. Total cost was guaranteed $97, turned out to be $137, could have been $167.

I google couch disposal and find couch disposal plus. Set up a pick up online for my couch. They call on Friday to move my pick up day for their convienience not a big deal. When the driver shows up and sees how big the couch is he is clearly not expecting it but tells me to leave it out and he will take care of it. I then get a call from Atlanta telling me this is my fault that’s a sectional not a couch (which I understand now). The issue is my fee more than doubles. Y’all were able to call me for your convienience but don’t have the detail orientation or customer courtesy to confirm what you are picking up. Y’all are literally terrible. Literally my job is to deal with upset guests but when your rep told me this was my fault I lost it. If y’all took 5 minutes per guest to just go over a few small details this could have been avoided. On top of that no apology or empathy whatsoever.

After booking two failed attempts for removal on takl (one never showed up and the other refused to send a second person as required), I was very happy with the services from couch disposal plus. It was less expensive, the communication was clear, and confirmation email and phone call great. The guys showed up on time and sent a message prior to arrival with the estimated time. From the minute I answered the door it took less than 10 minutes for them to remove the couch and carry it out a flight and a half of stairs to the truck. They were profesional and careful of the doors and flooring. I highly recommend the service and will definitely use couch disposal plus again.
